Hey everyone! So about I think 6 months now i have had this Gigabyte a320m-s2h motherboard and ryzen 5 1600 and they have been working pretty well. However this morning my computer wouldn't come on. So I tested the psu with another system and that system work so I know it wasn't a power supply issue. I took out the ram, GPU and anything else that was connected to the system but it would not turn on. The only 2 components left that I haven't (and don't know how) to check out are the motherboard and cpu. When I plugged my external hard drive into the motherboard the light came on which I think means the system is getting power but when I press the power button the cpu fans does not spin, nor does the fan on the gpu. I tried plugging in the fans to a separate header, cleared the cmos on the motherboard by taking out the battery and it still didn't work. I don't know if this is due to the cpu or the motherboard as I do not have another system compatible with either of these. Is there anyway to know for sure if it is the motherboard or cpu that is causing this? Any help would be much appreciated!
~P.S.~ will the cpu fan still spin if there was no ram or gpu connected? I am sure they would but the motherboard would give an error beep.
