  1. Hi, I'm working on a project that requires a HD video feed to a phone via wifi or some sort of internet access. My current idea is using some sort of wifi CCTV or wifi camera and getting the feed. Do you guys have any specific wifi cameras that you recommend or wifi CCTVs? The requirements are that it's relatively compact and it can be viewed on a phone. By viewing on a phone I would preferably like it to be able to get integrated to an app. I don't really know much about wifi videos and such so if it's a real simple thing then I apologize for my lack of knowledge lol. Thanks in advance!
  2. Hi, First off, this may sound like a crypto post but I'm pretty sure it's just a windows issue as I've been getting these errors while trying to run my mining software. I've been using a software called T-rex to mine crypto for about 2~3 months, but around last month, it stopped working. T-rex miner works by having a t-rex.exe application, and a bunch of windows batch files containing instructions to run the application. Every time I tried to launch any of the batch files, it it'd give me an access is denied, and when I tried to run as admin, it gave me that the file was not found. I've decided to do some investigating, and well. When I tried to launch the t-rex.exe application by itself, it gave me an error that Windows does not have access to the specified device path or file. Here are the solutions I've tried so far. I've tried changing the folder & file's permissions so it'll allow everyone using this pc to access it and manually gave myself access. I've tried redownloading it multiple times. I've tried opening as admin and normal. I've tried disabling windows defender and I don't have any AV software installed. I've tried moving the folder location as I thought it may be OneDrive interfering with it, but no dice. After trying these solutions for about a month, I gave up and today I decided to move to Nicehash as LTT made a video on it a while back and I was like might aswell. However, when I downloaded the thing, opened the .exe file and launched it, I get the same error. Fresh download, in download folder and somehow windows doesn't have access to it. I thought it may just be my Windows being weird so I tried downloading Spotify and that thing opened & worked perfectly, so I'm not sure what's going on. One weird thing tho. I've created another user using netplwiz and launched the mining software from a new user, and that seems to work. What could be going on? How can I solve this? Thank you in advance and I hope this issue can be solved..
  3. Thank you for your reply! Alright then I'll first order everything to cool the cpu & stuff, then I'll sus out the GPU. I'm not sure on the return policy especially because Aliexpress, but if it doesn't work I'm keen to just mod the heatsinks as I just need the gpu die to be cooled sufficiently, and vrms + memory I'm more than happy to mess around with heatpipes and thermal pads.
  4. Hi, I'm planning to build my first water cooled build. I've watched plenty of videos and saved up enough cash for it, so I'm now at the phase when I'm deciding parts. I'll be buying most of my parts in Aliexpress because I don't know where exactly to buy water cooling parts in Korea, and even if I found places that sold it, a 240mm alphacool radiator(50$ in aliexpress) goes for 100$+, and plus, I don't mind waiting for the parts. In order to save cost & since I'll be moving to an ITX build soon, I've decided on these parts so far - Barrowch 3in1 pump/res/block combo - 92$ Barrowch 240mm 30mm radiator - 28$ Barrowch THKN 3/8 series soft tube fitting 16mm OD - 32$ for 8 Barrowch 16mm soft tubing transparent - 9$ for 2m Barrowch TZS1 plug - 2$ for 2 I'm a little stuck on what block to get for the GPU and if I should get a temperature monitor, and I would love some assistance choosing what to do. First, the GPU block. I have a Galax RTX 2070 D6 but unfortunately I don't see the exact model outside of Korea. Here is the link to the shop but it is in Korean. Due to this, I'm having some trouble choosing a water block for it and I'm not even sure if any water block is supported. However, I think as long as the gpu die, memory and vrm is cooled it's fine. I came across this block which my gpu specifically isn't on the list, but it's supports galax cards so I thought I may give it a shot. If not, is it possible to just mod a normal cpu water block and add a bunch of thin heatpipes/vapor chamber and cool it that way? Next, the water coolant temperature meter. Should I bother getting one? I watched optimum tech's video and it seems pretty cool, but the b550 itx motherboards that have said temperature meters seem to be the expensive ones made by Asus. If not, is there a fan hub that controls speed via an external temperature sensor? Hopefully I made some sense delivering my question, as it is a pretty niche case. But hopefully someone has the answer to this and thank you in advance! P. S. Here are some pictures I took that may help!
  5. I'm on a windows laptop. Samsung 7 force. The settings not changing isn't THAT big of a deal, just a minor change on the controls. But the reason why I'm digging so hard is because I want to know what's specifically causing it.
  6. I used macrium reflect to move the drives. I've now reset the settings. I've moved my OS back to the 250g drive, I've formatted the 500g drive, and reset windows using settings - reset this pc - reset while keeping files. I've reinstalled Apex legends and it saved the settings I've had from before, but when I try to put new settings in, it still doesn't save. I have no clue what's going on. Thanks for your reply. What could be the issue? As I've said before I've essentially reset everything but it has the same issue. Thanks for the reply btw.
  7. Hi. I've recently switched my OS from Mac OSX to Windows 10. I've gotten used to most of it, but I still don't know a lot. The main thing I'm struggling with atm is with is folder access. I recently got a 500g ssd for my laptop, and transferred my OS from the 250g stock ssd to the 500g ssd. After that, I downloaded most of my games to the 500g ssd but to leave some headroom, I installed one game (apex legends) on the 250g ssd. However, when I went to play a game on my 500gb ssd(Titanfall 2), none of my games and settings would save. Every time I quit the game I had to restart from the beginning, and the settings wouldn't save. However, I found out about windows secure folder access and followed the procedure to enable it, and add titanfall 2 as one of the apps that can control the folder, and managed to play the game fine. However, I decided to disable it because I didn't want to manually enable it for every game that I have and will play in the future. However, now my game settings in apex legends won't save, and my chatting app can't download the files to my laptop which means they're both having trouble accessing the folder. I have tried giving the folder access to everyone following this guide, and re-enabling secure folder access, but no dice. Game settings won't save and chatting app still can't download. How so I fix this issue? And do you have any tips for a person that is new to windows as I'm really struggling to get used to all of it's quirks. Thanks in advance.
  8. Thank you for the replies. I have another question regarding fit & finish. The cooler height limit is 61mm, and I found the Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP. It has a height of 75.4mm but that's with a 25mm thick fan on top of it. If I remove the fan it should have a height of 50.4mm and it should fit. Should I go for it or use something that actually will fit with a fan on it? I'm in Indonesia, and thanks for the link I think I found one that I like. Corsair SF600.
  9. Thank you for the recommendation. I'll try to look for a SFX psu, but I believe I do have to pay a premium for them. I don't mind going a little larger, just that it'll be more difficult for me to transport it when I'm moving and dorm may not allow it. But I might pick up a cheapo laptop because I'll probably need a laptop for university needs instead of relying on an ipad that I currently use.
  10. Ah thank you for that. I forgot to mention, the import prices here are pretty ridiculous. I haven't done the complete calculations, but I believe I'm paying about 200~300$ more than the US prices here. From what I remember, if I were in the US, can get a 2080 super at the same price.
  11. Hi, I will be building my first PC soon, and I'm looking to get some feedback/help on the parts selection and more. Here are the parts I have currently selected. CPU - Ryzen 5 3600 GPU - EVGA 2070 super black Mobo - Gigabyte B450-i aorus pro wifi Ram - Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8gb 3200mhz cl16 Cooler - Corsair H60 (I'm a little stuck here. My case only supports up to 61mm height coolers) Case - Silverstone SG13 SSD - Samsung 970 evo plus 500gb(or WD black) HDD - Seagate Barracuda 2tb 7200rpm PSU - Seasonic Focus gold 650w fully modular Monitor - AOC C24G1 Headphones - Hyperx cloud alpha s Mouse - G502 Lightspeed (purchased) KB - Steelseries Apex 7 TKL (purchased) I'm going for ITX as will be moving to a new country in about a month and I do prefer a smaller form factor, but the size is flexible and I don't really mind going matx or even atx. I will be using this PC for mostly gaming with some video editing, 3d modeling and more, but mostly 1080p 144hz gaming with graphics set to max/high for games, and the games I want to play are mainly Apex legends, Borderlands 3, Destiny 2, Pubg, R6 siege, so mainly FPS games. My overall budget for this PC is about 1300$, and I will be buying the parts in Indonesia's online store Tokopedia. Currently, my build is a little overbudget so I would like to reduce the price. I have considered reducing the GPU to a RX5700XT, reducing the SSD to a 250g and hdd to 1tb. How does this build sound overall and is there anything I should change on it? Also please let me know which areas I can reduce the price in, and I would also like a cooler recommendation that fits AM4 and is under 61mm in height. Thank you in advance!
  12. Ah. I'll try to find something that fits but if I can't then I'll go with MSI. Yip it's a 240mm cooler. It's about half the price of the H100i. Hopefully it'll be good, or I'll get the Raijintek Orcus 240 which is similarly priced to the h100i. Thanks for your help!
  13. Oh jeez it's 2000000 idr so ~140 US. I think there seems to be some kind of increase in price for Asus mobos as they seem to be the popular pc part choice over here in Indonesia. If you don't mind, do you have any other recommendations? Greatly appreaciated. P. S. What do you think about this cooler? LINK
  14. Oh. Well that sucks. Do you have any recommendations?
  15. Thanks for the fast reply! I think I might go with MSI as it seems to be the better & cheaper option that I have. Looking at the B360M Gaming Plus rn.
