  1. So I will be editing in Video Studio Pro 2019 booth FHD and 4K videos and i am wondering if my CPU (i5 7500) is up to the task. According to this the system requirements for the program FHD would be fine but what about 4K? If the editing would take too long whit current cpu which one should I upgrade to? I make this just for myself as a hobby so it doesn't need to be anything super fast, and if the i5 can do it in reasonable time then I'm fine whit it. Here is the system requirements
  2. I want to be able to use my retail version of Windows 10 in my new PC so this is probably the right way to do it? https://winaero.com/blog/how-to-deactivate-windows-10-and-change-the-product-key/ If I do that will my PC where I deactivating my key from still work normally and where will the key go? Can i see it when i got to my microsoft account or do i need to write it down?
  3. I've seen several reviews of the case but none has mentioned that you can't fit a HDD when a AIO 240mm cooler is mounted in the front because it looks quite tight. My PSU is 150mm long and the AIO is the corsair h100i.
  4. yes, I am going form intel to intel and i have my license connected to my microsoft account, so I'm ready to get the new stuff in right? I have 2 drives but I'm not sure which is the boot drive, what if I plug in only that whit windows 10 when first starting up?
  5. I got a retail version of windows 10 on my PC and I am going to change the motherboard CPU and GPU. What should I do before taking the old parts out and what to do when I have the new parts in. Can I just use the hard drive where i have windows installed and then it would recognize the new hardware and install windows to them? If you know any good tutorial on how to get windows running on after changing hardware let me know!

  7. Here are the parts .https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ Would it fit? If not which cooler would fit then and I want to OC the cpu to 4.7 ghz maybe 5 ghz
  8. Thank you very much. One more thing, If I was to deactivate the key on current PC can I then use it on the new one? Only one PC can use the key at a time.
  9. Okay, so the title says basically all but I'm going to tell everything anyway in case. I have currently a PC which I bought a windows 10 key and installation usb drive and now I will build a new PC but still be able to use the old one. So will the free way work or do you need to buy a completely new windows 10 key like I did for my current PC. This is what I mean whit the free way: https://www.microsoft.com/fi-fi/software-download/windows10 Have been watching some tutorial videos on this and they all have been skipping the product key when they install win10 on the new PC, why? Some says too that you will lose customizing options or the whole OS is getting buddy if you don't have/put the product key when installing.
  10. 1500-2000$ probably if you need one, and I'm Swedish. I don't know what you think but i been looking at RTX 2070 and ryzen 5 2600 but then i don't know if that GPU is too powerful for that i told you earlier, how gtx 1070ti or 1080 that would be more affordable, or should i wait for rtx 2060?
  11. I have been dreaming about getting into 2K gaming some day and i want you to tell me what kind of computer i need to have to get 60+ fps on that resolution. Now, you see that i said in the title that im going to have a 1440p 144hz monitor, Asus ROG Swift PG278QR, but i dont need to get 144fps in every game. Games i want to average 144fps is esports titles like Overwatch (medium settings). In AAA games like forza horizon 4, assassin creed and battlefield 1 60 fps will be fine. I have currently a budget build from 2014 so i'm not going to reuse anything. I don't have any budget right now but don't suggest me anything too crazy, i want to have the best for the money, CPU and GPU is the most interesting for me and then the motherboard maybe.
  12. I will upgrade ddr4 ram to 16 GB. I have now one stick which is 8gb so i need a other one. Question is do i have to buy the exact same ram stick (same MHz, size). Or if say G.skill has 8 gb 2400 mhz ram can i take it and it would work fine whit the Kingston one? This is the ram stick i currently got: https://www.amazon.de/Kingston-HyperX-Fury-HX424C15FB2-2400MHz/dp/B01D8U2BKA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1541501328&sr=8-1&keywords=Kingston+HyperX+FURY+DDR4+2400+MHz+CL15+8+G
  13. So even if I have the boost clocks on booth gpu and cpu i don't need more than 450W psu?
  14. Okay, how likely is it that it will fail? And how will a psu fail happen, is it a slow process so you can react to it and change it or will it just suddenly explode without warning?
