  1. Clean install is always a good choice. You could also try to clone the drive on the desktop. Saving to HDD then install new m.2 and move the clone onto it. Im sure there is something out there that can clone a full drive. Similar to how VMware transfers a physical PC to a virtual one works.
  2. Have you tried to directly connecting to the router and rerun the pings? Try to determine if it a problem with your wireless or its an actual problem with your ISP. Try running a few trace routes to see what those come up with. If wireless was fine and isn't now something could of changed. More interference on the channel from new device in the house or near by. You could try changing channels. Wireless doesn't degrade that much even going through one solid brick wall. Most likely a problem with interference or ISP.
  3. Are you having trouble with temps? I would highly recommend a tear down, cleaning and apply new thermal paste. I own the 7559 as well with the i7 6700hq. The CPU would peak at 98c while gaming without the gpu being overclocked. I applied new paste and cleaned out any dust and now I am down to 75c on the CPU and low 70s with +135mhz OC on the gpu core and 500mhz on the memory clock. I try to play most games at 1440p at 30fps since i have the 4k touch variant of the 7559. If you need help with disassembly i can do a guide for you. The few on youtube are crap.
