  1. Im not sure if it needs a driver because if i unplug my ethernet and tether my phone to my pc, my pc uses my phones wifi
  2. the apps give options within to use USB tethering, and that is what is recommended by tutorials for the best connectivity. My pc is connected to a different router than my computer so I made my own wifi hotspot and tried connecting them there.
  3. I'm trying to do a few things actually, I'm trying to use an app that will allow me to use my phones Vr headset on my computer, I'm also trying to use an app that will display some of Euro Truck Simulators dashboard such as the RPM and speedometer on my tablet, but both don't detect my phone over USB tethering and wifi.
  4. Hello all, I've been trying to use apps on my phone and computer that are designed to communicate with each other via USB tethering or via WIFI, however, I've tried different apps and different phones but the PC still won't detect the android Application via tethering and via WIFI. I've tried manually adding the IP Addresses, Disabling my firewall, Disabling my AntiVirus but the devices can't seem to communicate with each other. At best the PC sometimes is able to ping my phone but can't make a connection to it. Sorry if this is the wrong topic. Thanks in advance, Cornell
  5. When I put this PC together I had a hard time getting the CPU power connectors in because the part that joined the two 4 pins together were broken. But it has never ever come undone
  6. Another unusual thing is that my ram's rgb leds turn on when the computer is off, that never happens
  7. I've removed everything from the board but the CPU and cooler, my computer is not beeping and there is a bright red led with and with words beside it it says CPU. The led instantly turns on and won't. I think my Mobo might be dead, but OK hoping it's either the power supply or my Mobo because I bought 3yr direct replacement plan with Canada computers.
  8. Hello, I built my gaming computer just under a month ago. But after I plugged the digital led strip into the motherboard the computer shutoff and now it won't post. Specs: Mobo: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M CPU: Amd Ryzen 5 2600 (never overclocked) Ram: Team group Delta 8gb Ddr4 Gpu: Asus R9 270X Cooler: Coolermaster master liquid ml 120L Psu: Thermal take 650w semi modular power supply That isn't rated for efficiency. When I press the power button all of my rgb leds turn on and at the bottom right of my motherboard there is a solid red light that has the word CPU beside it, and no post codes. I removed the CPU, cleaned it and saw absolutely nothing physically unusual with the CPU or pins. I also hope it's not the CPU because to me I spent slot of money on that because I only deliver newspapers. I have a 3year direct replacement plan on my motherboard if my motherboard is dead. I have spare power supplys Thanks in advance
  9. Ok thank-you, Linus pirates his windows lol
  10. Thank-you, but the only problem is my cd is slightly illegal and the key is baked into the installation, but I can go in activated
  11. Maybe, but my activated copy is on a cd
  12. Hi there, I recently bought and put together my ryzen system but I am having an issue installing Windows 10 via Disc in my external DVD rom. The error says, "A media driver your computer needs is missing", then I have an option to browse for the driver or insert a flash drive with the driver. I have read that I need to try a different usb slot, I've tried all of them, then I dusted off my sata dvdrom and tried it in there and my problem persists. I have tried to insert my motherboard cd and look for drivers, I've installed all of the ones the installer detected. But still no luck. I've tried to unplug all of my other SATA drives apart from my SSD and cd rom. And I unplugged all USBs apart from my mouse and DVDROM This is annoying. Thankyou in advance.
