  1. In the market for a new laptop and have been looking at HID Evolution. I have heard about them but don’t have to much information about them and the quality of there laptops. It looks like there evoc line is essentially a sager or clevo brand same specs as most however they do a liquid metal paste that i have seen on some reviews can lower temps a full 10c. I guess I’m just looking to see if anyone on here has brought from them and what the feedback is. Also how does everyone feel about extended warranties for any of these laptops some of them are quite expensive so it might make sense in the event of a failure. Looking forward to hearing some feedback thanks.
  2. Hey everyone I have had to do some home remodeling and do some much needed fixes so I’m thinking of selling my gaming rig and it’s kind of an overkill beast for my small house so I plan on downsizing and probably going to a really nice gaming laptop. So the question is do you guys our guys have any ideas a good place to list and try to sell my rig? Im not doing craigslist of Facebook marketplace so many scammers and other issues with people on there. Hoping there’s a good community forum someone may know of that I can post it on. Thanks
  3. Thanks for the reply ekwb finally reached back out to me and said they to will be producing one but it won’t be out til Jan or February so I may wait
  4. Anyone have any experience with this companies blocks at all ?
  5. I have an msi trio 2080ti and would like to possibly liquid cool however it seems that only bitspower made a block for this gpu. I know bitspwoer makes good fittings but I haven’t heard anything at all about there blocks anyone have any experience using bitspower blocks on a gpu appreciate any feedback thanks.
  6. So I just filled my first custom loop well I got one of the kits from ekwb and so far no leaks and it’s been awesome so far. However a few things have popped up and I’m sure there’s an answer to them so I’d really appreciate the help. First thing is I notice some kind of whine noise coming from the pump now it’s probably running full bore right now because I’m running it off the jumper that and I can still hear bubbles passing through but will this quiet down under normal use not full speed and when more of the air gets out of the system? second question is even though I cleaned and cleaned and cleaned and went nuts I noticed a few very small dark specks and I did the radiator dance like Carlton from the fresh prince for like hours and still there’s some very small debris should I just drain it and refill I have dedicated rain so it wouldn’t be to much trouble for me to do it. Also to that same note is there anything I should run through it to clean it even better and try to clean it more. Appreciate the the help I have gotten some really good info on here recently and appreciate it also this is the most fun I’ve had for a while on this build watercooling is a new hobby of mine I’m already thinking of switching to hard tube and putting my gpu under water lol. thanks

  8. If I don’t fill out the wattage as much though will it really cause issues. I mean it should be running at about 500 right away but then as I tweak overclocking etc it will get to 650-700. I just don’t want to have issues like it won’t cause any major malfunction by having it not utilize more of the power.
  9. So is it your thinking that based on my rig I’m building that 850 is plenty even with overclocking my cpu and gpu some
  10. That’s kinda how I felt as well because if the power supply lasts as long as it should I will be upgrading again and things only seem to get more power hungry.
  11. Yea it’s not here yet but 9900k and a 2080ti msi trio so that alone is 400 watts than fans led radiator pump and no overclocking. I just don’t know what the restock fee and they want me to pay shipping even though I tried to cancel. So I wouldn’t be saving money but would it be better for my build is more my concern not the money.
  12. So I bought a 1000watt EVGA SuperNOVA p2 but after showing a few people they have told me I could have gone with a 750-850. Thing is if I return. It I get spanked with return shipping etc and restock fee probably. Is there any negative to having a bigger than needed psu if so what is it. I figure I probably will be using around 500-600 watts without major overclocking but I am watercooling so plan on pushing it a little. Plus 7 fans pump less etc. I have done a few check and depending on how much I over click it could go to 1200 but I don’t think I will push it that far. Any info is appreciated.
