well i hope this would be the right place to place this question but ive been playing rust and for some reason at random times the game will just disconnect me but when it does all my internet will shut off with it for about 5 sec. videos will start to buffer browser wont load a new page etc. but after about 5 or so sec my internet will come back like nothing has happened.. ive spoken to my isp (they say no issues on their end) ive called netgear and again they say no issues with them so ive searched the internet for a solution and one site said to look at my event viewer and i found this error would happen every time id disconnect.. i have a 2700x 1080 ti msi x470 mobo with gig internet and cat 6 cables router is a c7800.. any help would be greatly appreciated

this is the second cpu and a new mobo i got them switched out like a month ago but work got busy so hadnt tested till last week... but with these mobo and cpu ive actually got the lights turning on, on the mobo and then the codes.. its just weird to have something fail this many times.. ill send off the cpu and wait for my return

ryzen 7 2700x msi gaming m7 ac evga 1000 g3 trident z rgb 4x8gb 3200 ddr4 ive tried with (msi 1070 gaming x, msi 1080 ti, and gigabyte rtx 2070) i bought a asus b450-f and it just turned on one light for the cpu so i returned the board after seeing the msi mobo and saw some good reviews and it being recomended.. plugged it in and the board sparked then started to smoke... sent in that mobo and got the new one.. same thing.. so sent a new mobo and cpu and ram now plugged them in with a new PSU and now its giving me the error for cpu led with C8 code.... ive tried with one stick of ram (tried all four and tried some from my other pc) so im getting more and more lost with this build ive never come across this kinda problem with any build and im guessing its total user error cause i have just built last year a 8700k msi z370 gaming pro carbon evga 1000 g2 trident z 4x16gb 3200 ddr4 and its worked no problem...

i have tried it with a blank brand new drive... i havent tried it with a usb with win 10 on it... would that possibly cause an issue? i thought id get a post or to the bios without a storage attached.. ive tried cmos reset with no avail...

I thought the 2700x didnt have on board graphics... msi told me to plug both 8pins in for the cpu and no beeps and the manual doesn't have c8 on their error code sheet...

So I'm moving into my new apartment today but I've been having a problem for since November with these cpu and mobo I've swapped out the mobo 4 times stated with an asus brand then switched to msi for the wireless option.. ok so newest problem is the mother board is showing error code C8 with the led debug light on cpu... I have literally swapped out every component (ram psu mobo cpu) I've built it on the box with nothing but the cpu, aio and graphics card and I'm always getting an error with this set up.. spoke to msi on this one and the tech support just kinda kept blaming the cpu was bad but this is the second one and I'm soon to be sending it off for a 3rd replacement.. I'm just wondering if anyone has experienced this problem with these products... I've tried so much and I'm just bashing my head against the desk trying to figure it out.. please someone, anyone throw something my way that might be able to help ... thanks in advance!

So I got my coffee beans and some stickers for pre order and I didn't know what to do with linus multiple mugshots so this is where he goes and believe it or not people in the oil feild just dont know who he is ahaha and when I explain hes a Canadian tech guy who drops stuff they just look at me weird and walk away... best.... sticker... ever!!

im sending back the motherboard and psu so next week ill have the new parts and ill tryagain away from the case. i have a feeling its not the case that it might be the new evga PSU that i got cause when i removed everything i noticed one of the 24pin wires was slightly dislodged so i reconnected it and thats when the board started to smoke.. so maybe its not making good connection.. i tried it again outside the case and its back to doing the same thing with the one red led then a blink and nothing.. so ill update next week when i have the new parts maybe even live stream the build so yall can call me on my shit if im doing something wrong haha thanks again for the help so far bud

So now I have it all removed again and now it's doing the same thing in the case outside the case now...these are the only points that are super close to the case and the top ones hold the head sinks for the power phase and the bottom 4 are for the heat sink for the m.2
