  • Biography
I have been building and working on computer for over 14 years. I have a enthusiast mentality when it comes to computers and technology. I love to theory craft new builds, custom builds, extravagant builds, and help with some tech support. I am also a heavy gamer, I primarily like to play competitive games online. Also was a heavy World of Warcraft player back in the day. My favorite gaming franchise is Metal Gear Solid. It's was quite an experience when I was a kid.

I am currently looking to give back to the community by means of spreading a decade of knowledge, and network with other part-time/full-time streamers for I am now trying to build my own brand and community.

JeffreyB.'s Achievements

  1. Thank you, I'm glad someone on the form want to theory craft with me. If you were to build this computer what would you put in it?
  2. I'm starting to get the impression you have not seen the video Linus posted about this build. Also no worries on understanding how these thing work. Maybe watch the video and come back thanks.
  3. Well price isn't my first concern, more about the viability. Also a raw single pc setup has it issues when trying to maximize you FPS in game. I like the VM tactic because it isolates the streaming system and gaming system. Lastly I do not have a lot of space atm, so a single tower is appealing to me. Plus the lower power consumption.
  4. So I was very inspired by Linus's video where he built a "Server" but VM'ed a Streaming PC, and Gaming PC. So I'm reaching out the community to see if there has been anymore discussion on the build, and how viable it is. Also would this build be better with the new Thread ripper for the sheer additional about of cores to allocate? Or is Intel really the only way to go? Lastly I really think I want to make this my next build but would like to see you all think. Thanks!
