  1. Yup like this, and now I really understand why things are way they are, thanks for showing interest in this topic hopefully next time I'll be up with something new to discuss
  2. Also the pattern shown would more resemble a dovetail design which can be seen in lathe machines.
  3. The point of low tolerance is agreed but with new techniques of machining (laser, etc) this can be achieved.
  4. Had an idea, how about instead of using thermal paste to fill the air gap between the CPU IHS and Cooler Pad , we instead use slots on both IHS and Cooler Pad and sort of wedge them together before installing the cpu on the mother board socket. This would ensure zero gap between IHS and Cooler Pad and hopefully increase in thermal performance. IDK if anyone has tried this yet. I would love if Linus tries it out as an experiment and compare the results with stock Cooler with thermal paste.

  6. Amazon and Flipkart are 2 major online stores. Will prefer 15.6 inch display. Not much into battery life as it will be used mostly in my house. Not into esports, CS GO, GTA V, Tomb Raider, COD etc.
  7. I already have a Hp laptop (intel pentium, 4 gb ram) pretty basic. wanted to upgrade to a laptop having good performance. Weight is not an issue. Casual gaming and productivity. Budget around 800$ (approx 60000 Rs). Please suggest.
