Even after installing custom fan curve those spikes persist.

So when downloading something it reacts to the increase of percentage downlaoded?

Hello, A while ago I noticed a strange noise coming from the back of my PC. I usually noticed when downloading something or when Battle.net app was open (suppose it was downloading as well even though not really). Now I have noticed that it reacts to movement of the mouse. When moving it emits the noise when stop it stops. I have recorded a video with the noise. The whole time I am moving my mouse and just for a brief moment I stop and so is the noise. Video is attached. Please increase volume in order to hear it. I have Gainward RTX 2080 but I think it was doing even before that. My MB is B150M NIGHT ELF, my CPU i5 6500. I have had this setup for close to 4 years now. Everything runs smooth. What could it be? video-1548175403.mp4

Hello, really need to upgrade my GPU as 960 is not enough for the games I play (POE, HOTS, Dark Souls, WOW). Would you recommend purchasing 1060 now or wait for 2050 or 2060? When do they even come out??

I honestly dont care about RTX maybe DLSS but at the moment its all about the price / performance and I feel like 2070 yet slower wins here as the difference is 300 dollars for 15 more fps.

No here in my country. They put very similar prices for similarly performing cards...

Hello. I always wanted rtx 2080 as the next best thing. RTX 2080 TI is really expensive. Stores are pulling their 1080TIs from shelves to push 20xx series so 1080ti is no option for me anymore not even used ones. I play at 2560 x 1440 at 144hz so extra fps is always good but ... Prices: RTX 2080 is 1000 dollars RTX 2070 is 708 dollars According to benchmarks the fps difference is at 2K aproximatelly 10-15 fps less than 2080 depending on the game. I feel like price/performance wise the 2070 is much better buy here. What do you think? Edit: I am not from USA. I am from Europe.

Its during gameplay. I mean I dont feel anything odd in the game. So I guess its just normal. I have never tracked GPU usage before with my old GPUs. Just now to "test" the 2080. So maybe it was alwayas like this. But I just did not care.

So basically its all normal? I have fps locked at 144 and I do not reach that at all I am around 80-100 fps. My CPU could be the culprit.

During gameplay. I play at 1440p 144hz my CPU is i5 6500. Also HOTS is really badly optimized and run on old engine.

Hey all. What can you tell me about the fans at GIGABYTE gpus? Specifically: GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2080 GAMING OC 8GB. I have read on reddit and forums that the fans are the shittiest and break a lot. Also people refer this manufacturer as GIGASHYTE. Are they just a few of dissapointed customers?
