  1. Thanks for the reply! Any experience with Lume Cubes? I've heard good things about them. Video example link: https://youtu.be/qZkcFwLcH4Q 1) Basically a guy in a smallish room. (kinda hard to get the shadow from not showing up on the wall - and can't stand too far away from the wall): 2) Tours of empty renovated apartment units: And outdoors, a bit:
  2. I've got a quick question. I recently got our YouTube channel past 1,000 subscribers (real estate business), I've definitely gotten better at the editing side of fairly simple video production. However, one area that I need to improve on is lighting. I'm curious about the lighting that is used in the LTT videos which always look amazing. I guess specifically I'm wondering what the types of lights are that Linus used in a semi-recent video where he updated his at-home streaming setup. He was using some pro lights that looks like florescent lighting tubes (not the Elgato flat lights). I took a screenshot which is attached. Anyone know what models of lights these are? They seem to be relying on bouncing the light off the ceiling and walls of the room to create a diffused look. Any other general lighting advice is also more than welcome. Thanks!
  3. I’m hoping you can help me with some advice. We’re locked down here in CA, luckily we’re able to work remotely so since business is slow my boss wants to do some virtual interviews of some experts to create video content (we’re in real estate). Ideally the highest quality but also super simple to use since I can’t be there to really help him and the interviewees aren’t really technical at all and this is all being done remotely. Ideally it would be great to be able to record both streams fully. We currently use Google Hangouts for our internal meetings but the quality isn’t that great. Do you have any recommendations? Thx & stay safe!!‬
  4. Turns out I was using the 'Storage Spaces' feature of Windows Server 2012 to pool capacity. Two of the drives aren't showing up (see screenshot). One of those is the 5TB drive which doesn't even seem to want to spin up. Any updated advice?
  5. I’ll give that a try. Is it best to install it on the actual system or onto a 2nd computer? Is Linux better than PC for stuff like this? Thanks!
  6. I had an old PC that I installed Windows Server on, the boot drive was a 60GB SSD. However, the PC only had 2 SATA connections. So I found a PCI card that had 4 sata ports inside the computer and 2 e-sata ports on the outside. I currently have 3 drives connected to it, 1 3TB and 2 5TB. I had a ton of movies and TV shows on there (was using it as a server for Kodi media player). I had about 1.5TB of generic stuff and nearly 4TB of media. I had some issues and I get an error in POST. If I ignore that error and boot into Windows Server it shows the 1.5TB of generic stuff but none of the media. It only shows one out of the 3 hard drives. I pulled the drives and put them into an external enclosure (connected via USB) to see what was up, 1 of the 5TB drives seems dead, it won't spin up and makes no noise. The other 2 drives do spin up but they won't show up in the OS. Everything worked fine up until about a week ago. I'm at a loss. Any help is much appreciated.
