  1. sorry, i should have mentioned, thats not my video or laptop, it just something i found on the interwebs to describe the sound. (also the taskbar is pretty good for being acer, they are usually way worse, i just had to throw that in there) I actually have an Alienware Aurora R6 with an AMD Radeon RX 560 graphics card, and an Intel i5-7400 CPU. it's like the beep is a warning for something but im not sure what, overheating maybe? i was looking at my temps and everything was fine. im waiting to get another hardrive and backup some of my stuff, then im gonna reset my pc but im not sure when im going to do that.
  2. recently it's been beeping once. here's exactly what it sounds like:
  3. I was playing destiny 2 while my computer beeped 3 times, it didn't come from the computer, it came from my headphones.. It's not the first time it's done this but it's pretty annoying.. I'll try to describe the beeps the best i can: "beep (pause for like half a second) and then 2 beeps after that" also all the beeps are short. it's the same sound as if sticky keys are turning on, but at the time i wan't pressing anything. I wasn't paying attention to my temps so i have no clue if it was overheating or not. Thanks in advance.
  4. it seems to be a feature on windows 10? i tried what you said and its only happening on this computer, the only way i know how to fix it, is to start hitting every button on the keyboard. i was just switching my colors on my keyboard the, keys i used were "FN, the back light key and Page up" (i might have press CTRL, i don't remember) maybe i pressed a key without knowing. im ready to just install a keylogger and see the keys that i press, this wasn't such a problem until i signed up for the windows 10 insider build, im on 1809 at the moment, but i don't recall having this problem on 1803.
  5. No i have't tried that, next time it happens i'll try it. It happens in every browser, Discord, and Twitch (app not web version.) It won't happen in notepad or file explore. It seems to happen when i press one of these keys right shift, right CTRL, enter, windows key (its on the right side) i also have a button to change my the keyboard color right next to the windows key that seems to toggle "CTRL lock" as i call it. Here is the keyboard that i use (its kinda old) planning on getting a new keyboard. http://redragonusa.com/products/combos/S102 - YAKSA/100
  6. Sometimes randomly my keyboard will lock the CTRL key but only in Google, Firefox, Discord, Twitch, etc (not the whole PC itself) and IDK how to disable it when it happens.. I can't even pause Youtube when it does happen. example: if I go to search something with the letter "A" it will select all, if I search something with the letter "C" it will copy and if I'm trying to open a link from the search bar i press enter but it will open it in a new tab? if I type something in discord and I try to delete it, it wont register the backspace. I've gone to control panel and turned off sticky keys didn't work, I know the CTRL key isn't actually stuck, its something to do with all browsers. I have't tried the on screen keyboard (so I have no idea if that's effected too). restarting the PC sometimes fixes it (only after restarting the PC like 3 - 6 times). i heard that it only happens to Alienware PC's and stuff like AlienFX (IDK how true that is) I have tried to unplug my keyboard but its no help, I have tried to update the drivers and uninstalled the drivers, again no help.
