  1. I will have to do that, thanks for the suggestion
  2. Thanks for the feedback! Cables are still a bit of a wip but its almost done. I will def take the aio rotation into consideration (i just fixed the cpu cooler a little bit ago) so I think that that might be the next step. In this case, its a pain to take the cages in and out and it looked really empty without it so just for ease of upgradeability i put it in
  3. So i built this beauty a month or so back but i decided i should share it on here. Specs are as followed (I fixed the cable management and changed the lighting from last time. Blue is new, white is old) CPU-1700x OC to 4ghz GPU-gtx 1080 ftw hybrid MOBO- X470 ASUS PRIME RAM- 16gb teamforce ddr4-3000 ram PSU-corsair rm650 CPU COOLER-EVGA 280mm aio Boot drive-250gb m.2 ssd Hdd- one 3tb hdd and one 1tb hdd Let me know what you guys think!
  4. Cable management is a wip, im thinking about getting some cable mod cables to make it look a bit cleaner (i also ran out of zip ties)
  5. Everything but the fans is rgb so i will experiment with that and get back to you ?

  7. Ok i would probably go for the 1700 in that case if it was avalible, but at my microcenter they only have the 1800x in stock and the proce difference is only 20 dollars. Thank you for the help, i have definitely learned some stuff
  8. Ok i see what you are saying now but the 1700 isnt avalible at my local microcenter and even then its only 20$ less so i think ima just get the 1800x Thank you!
  9. So like then getting a 1700 would really not make sense then
  10. I plan on overclocking the 1800x too so why get a 1700 and overclock that? It won't get me more performance than a 1800x overclocked or even be that much better price wise
  11. Yeah, microcenter has some really good deals on cpus and motherboards
  12. http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-Ryzen-7-2700X-vs-AMD-Ryzen-5-2600X/3958vs3956 If you have the money, go for the 2700x. If this is a pure gaming machine, I would go for the 2600x and save some money. Basiclly you will get slightly better single core on the 2700x, as well as getting 2 extra cores, but if you are doing gaming, a 2600x will do just fine i think, it just comes down to if you need the two extra cores
  13. Thats what im thinking, because honestly the gaming performance seems marginal Thank you!
  14. Hey guys, I'm on the fence between a 1800x and a 2600x. Right now i can get a 1800x for 200$ or get a 2600x for 190$. It will be paired with a 1080, 16gb-3000 ram an evga 280mm aio and a x470 motherboard (I plan on overclocking). It will be used for gaming, photo editing and video editing. I am already set on all other components so i don't need help with that, i just need help choosing the cpu. (Im leaning towards the 1800x)
