  1. Would u say a Xonar STX ii drive the HD660s with good quality? I don't see much recommendations for 7.1 capable ones except for the Sennheiser GSX 1000 and AE-5/ZxR (Creative). Like would getting a Schiit stack actually be noticable that dropping the 7.1 will make sense?
  2. Im going with the HD660's but I will also need a good 7.1 simulated surround for games/movie, which things like the Schiit stack dont provide. So is there any new ones soon that implement this or are there any headsets that have multiple drivers that dont require that maybe that are good in sound quality? (I only heard about the Asus Centurion)
  3. What is the best sound card that also delivers a good virtual 7.1 for games and movies? looking at stuff like the STX ii and the AE-5.
  4. The Xonar STX ii is from 2015 and idk much about it. Also I perfer 2 drivers and emulated 7.1 since I don't know any model that has a few in each ear and is dedicated for music too.
  5. Hey, I have recently upgraded some parts in my pc and I decided I want to bumb up the quality of my sound. My budget is about 700 USD and I want to get a headphone/soundcard combo for playing games / watching movies in good virtual surround 7.1, but at the same time have a high audio quality for music. Some items I looked at: for headphones I saw the Sennheiser HD660s and Beyrodynamics DT1990 PRO for S/C I found the Soudblaster AE-5 which is recent but cheaper, and the Asus Xonar STX ii, which is more "premium" but its from 2015 (if im not mistaken), also I dont know if it supports virtual 7.1 for headphones well. Anyone has recommendations/tips?
