    Delete empty boot options

I have this issue with my boot menu, where I have 3 literally empty boot options. How can I delete them?

    Laptop won't recognize external monitor

Nothing is shown. Drivers are up to date. Everythis is fine but this. I've lowered resolution on main display to check if that was an issue, but no..nothing is working currently but 720p TV

    Laptop won't recognize external monitor

As I said, I've checked it on my PC worked just fine. The main reason why we want it to work is that we are using projector to watch movies, but it only has VGA support and we are using this really old laptop that can't even output video without struggle..
  4. My girlfriend is using HP Pavillion x360 and can't use external monitor. I don't know why. It's an LG monitor not even fullHD, with VGA only. Her laptop only has HDMI out so I've used HDMI to VGA converter and laptop does not display any signal at all at 2nd monitor. I've checked that adapter on my PC with that monitor and it is working fine, but her laptop is not. Then I've tried using TV as "2nd monitor" on her laptop via cable and it is working just fine. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?
  5. Is it possible to share 1 HDD between Windows 10 and Linux? I have 1 SSD for Windows 10, M.2 SSD for Linux is coming next week, and I have a HDD that I use to store files on. Since Linux M.2 is going to be only 120GB. Is it possible to share this HDD with Linux and Windows so I can view all the files (pictures, movies etc) from both OS?

    How to merge 2 partitions

I have an issue. Well rather a question. is it possible to merge 2 drives into one without data loss. I'm getting an SSD today, and I have C and D partitions. C contains windows which I will format, and D contains some games. Can i merge C and D into one without loosing all the data from D and use SSD as boot disk, or I will need to format both of them and then merge them into one drive?

    Ingame stutter

GTA V does not have stutters at all. Everything runs perfectly fine. I will try more games tomorrow and see what will happen. My GF also said that sims 4 was working just fine.

    Ingame stutter

Yes. I didn't know in which slot to put it in. Couldn't find it anywhere online . I've put it in DDR4_1. There are 4 slots and this one is all the way to the right which does not feel right tho. Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite MB

    Ingame stutter

I've built my first PC yesterday and I'm having some issues with it. Ryzen 5 2600 and GTX 1070. My issue is that I'm getting a lot of stutters in game. Fortnite Stutters a lot. FPS drop insanely low and then comes back up like nothing happened. I can hear slight coil whine and when it stutters for half a sec i can hear it stop then continue. The thing is, in Furmark stress test that does not happen. No stutters no nothing. Things i tried: Fresh windows 10 install with latest drivers Set windows in performance mode. Nvidia power managment mode: max performance Maximum pre rendered frames: 1 Nothing worked. NOTE: I do not have SSD at all. It will arrive next week. I doubt this is cause for stutter because when hdd loads the game, CPU and GPU are doing everything. I can feel that pc is being bottlenecked with HDD, it is too damn slow. Right click sometimes takes couple of seconds. Opening applications is slow aswell. I honestly cannot feel the upgrade from G3250 to Ryzen 5 2600

    really need help here

Are anti viruses still a thing in 2018? I haven't been using one for like 10 years
  11. So my question is. Should i got like this. Or change 1600x to 2600 with stock cooler. 1600X is 40$ cheaper than 2600, adding a AiO will get me 10-15$ more expansive than 2600. And I'm not planning to upgrade stock cooler to AiO if i get 2600

  13. It's hard to say, since I'm not from the US, prices are too inflated here in Serbia
  14. My question is simple. What is a better option. Ryzen 5 1600x + AiO cooler or Ryzen 5 2600 + Stock cooler? The reason I'm asking is because im building my first PC right now. My budget is stretched too much already, and I literally cannot afford 30$ more. Basically, what i buy now is what i get, and I'm not upgrading it any time soon. So what should i choose? 1600x can perform as or even ourperform 2600 when OC, and i cannot OC if i have stock cooler on 2600 and as i said, im not going to buy anything else any time soon. I'm more for 1600x and AiO, because it simply looks much better and RGB does add some FPS to my gaming. I'd like to see what does my community think about this My complete build will be: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant Type Item Price CPU AMD - Ryzen 5 1600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor $164.36 @ OutletPC CPU Cooler EVGA - CLC 120 74.82 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler $59.89 @ OutletPC Motherboard Gigabyte - B450 AORUS ELITE ATX AM4 Motherboard $84.99 @ Amazon Memory Kingston - HyperX Fury 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $83.99 @ Amazon Storage Kingston - A400 240 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $39.49 @ Amazon Storage Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive $45.89 @ OutletPC Video Card Asus - GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB Dual Series Video Card $359.89 @ OutletPC Case Cooler Master - MasterBox MB600L ATX Mid Tower Case $55.90 @ Newegg Power Supply Raidmax - Vampire 800 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply $87.98 @ SuperBiiz Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total (before mail-in rebates) $1042.38 Mail-in rebates -$60.00 Total $982.38 Generated by PCPartPicker 2018-11-12 07:06 EST-0500
