Hello Linus forums! So my cooling setup is 2 exhaust fans directed through my H100i and out the top of the case and 3 intake fans; 2 front, 1 back. I use Fan Xpert 2 and have noticed that the CPU fans (exhaust) run, at a considerably lower RPM than the case fans (intake). In idle they will be about 260 rpm compared to intake fans being 600-650 rpm. My question now is; should I adjust speed to be more proportionate to each other, or is the fact that the 2 CPU/Exhaust fans run slower than my 3 intake fans not a going to be a potential problem? I haven't had a problem with heat so far, but you never know.

Well I'm pretty much used to the typical gamer headset quality so I don't really have any expectations other than maybe what I've been told. The best headset I have ever owned is probably the Razer Carcharias so I doubt a Sennheiser headset would disappoint compared to that Anyhow your help has been very appreciated, thanks a lot!

Sure sounds fine I think. Also I want to make a small correction. I meant sound card/amp (just whatever might be necessary).

I know this thread kind of died, I just wanted to end it by talking about one last thing: First: I think I might actually go for the G4ME ONE's since I think I'll prefer the open design. Second: If I do run into trouble with the sound, are there any relatively cheap sound cards that would go well with the headset?
-
Be careful about recommending the G4ME ZERO if people don't have some kind of amp. The headset is seemingly hard to drive and might not work well with only onboard sound.
-
That's unfortunate. I feel like it might be too much of a risk for the price I may have to settle for something else.
-
I'm kind of unsure... I don't want to buy such an expensive headset without being sure that it'll work fine. If my volume decides whether the headset will be fine or not can't I make some kind of test to see the dB level?
-
Yeah HyperX Cloud will definitely be my "backup" if I can't settle on one of the Sennheiser ones. Seems like a really great headset compared to the competitors in the same price class.

When I listen to music I don't want it louder than still being able to have a conversation with someone on Skype. If that actually gives any indication of the general sound level Also I listen to almost every kind of music. But I must confess I'm very confused now. Don't know what headsets are fine or not with the onboard audio on the Asus Z87-Pro now. Side note: Also saw a review about the G4ME ZERO's where the guy said it was hard to 'drive' them with his onboard sound.
-
I seems like the OPEN cup headsets have less ohm than the closed ones actually: 350SE: 150 Ohm ZERO: 150 Ohm 363D: 32 Ohm ONE: 50 Ohm The 363D's also list 2k Ohm on the Microphone for some reason, I don't know what that's about or what effect it has.
-
Would be nice if the Asus mobos do. Otherwise I'm almost out of options concerning Sennheiser headsets since the high amounts of Ohm would kind of ruin the bass.
-
I have the Asus Z87 Pro (Realtek ALC1150) which leads me to believe 363D might be the best option of the Sennheiser headsets for my mobo since it includes a USB soundcard.

Yeah I did see his review they look pretty good, but I am feeling like I'm slightly weighing more towards the more expensive headsets. I got some money for my birthday for exactly this. But I am still undecided
