  1. Would a AMD RX 560 2 GB card be too weak for an FX 8350 8 core? I'm asking mainly because this shitty "bottleneck calculator" said it would be terrible for it, but a lot of people have said this website is not accurate. All I want to know is if these 2 will work together nicely, I don't need other suggestions as I already have another plan if this one does not work, so no need to come in here and be like "nah bro you need a quad 2080 ti setup with 256 GB ram and an I9 9900k cooled at sub zero temperatures" /s
  2. Yeah you'd be 100% right with that guess lmao. I play mostly CSGO, Destiny 2, Rainbow Six, Overwatch, and on rare occasions Fortnite. The only main games I have performance issues in are Destiny 2 Overwatch and Fortnite mostly. In CS and R6 my performance is fine but that doesn't mean much when one is an old game and the other is optimized to the point where it runs 60 fps on consoles. And as a general statement to the people saying that I should stop worrying about messing up with my motherboard stuff, that isn't the only problem. If I were to upgrade my motherboard, not only would I have to then find an even more expensive CPU (and yes, I know $80 for a CPU isn't very expensive but still), I would need to buy a new motherboard, and I would need to buy 8GB of DDR4 RAM. All of that is a lot more than I have available to spend on my PC currently, and probably more than I will have in a reasonable amount of time. All I'm really looking for at the moment is the ability to run the games I want to run without dropping below 60 fps to be honest.
  3. The best CPU I can currently afford that fits my motherboard currently is an AMD FX 8350 8 core. Do you think it would significantly bottleneck a GTX 1060 6GB (or potentially a 1070) to the point where it would be noticeably bad? And before the inevitable "upgrade your motherboard" comments, I don't know enough about PC building to feel confident enough to take apart and unplug everything and set it up on a new motherboard, so that's not happening. Current Specs (Shit PC IK lmao): GPU: AMD RX 560 2 GB CPU: AMD FX 6300 6 Core RAM: 8 GB 1600 DDR3 MB: Gigabyte 970A D3SP PSU: Not sure of brand but it's 450 watt
  4. But is the difference significant enough to warrant buying it? Like is it noticeably better or would a 3 gb feel basically the same?
  5. Is the difference between these 2 cards worth the extra cost? Or would it be smart to just take my $60 elsewhere to potentially buy more ram or something. My current specs are an AMD FX 6300 6 core processor, a Gigabyte 970A-D3SP mb, 8 GB ddr3 ram at 1600 mhz, and an AMD RX 560 2GB for my GPU.
  6. So I currently have a GA-970A-DS3P mb (https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-970A-DS3P-rev-10#ov) and I'm planning on getting an Asus dual 1060 3gb (https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/DUAL-GTX1060-O3G/). Would the 1060 work with my mb or would I have to get a new one? I've been doing a lot of research on my own but a lot of the things I've seen are mixed. All I'm looking for is good fps in games on low settings idc about it looking good.
