  1. Greetings, So it seems i have been having a problem with my current 3900x on an Asus Crosshair VIII Hero mother board. I keep getting ocasional lockups and sometimes just blank screens until you do a hard reset. Was looking to upgrade to either of those. I play games, but it is used by my wife for some video and picture editing. I have 64GB 3600 CL16 memory Evga 3080ti xc3 hybrid 990 samsung 2TB for OS and main programs 980 samsung 2TB for all other. I am leaning towards the 5950x even thou its like 130 more than the 5800x3d. X3d is on sale on amazon for 291. Just would like some opinions. Thanks in advance. Roxhound
  2. So I ended up getting a 11g-p4-6698-kr for approx 600. Is used so am hoping I dont get a lemon.
  3. EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC BLACK EDITION GAMING, 08G-P4-2082-KR, 8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans & RGB LED VS EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Black Edition GAMING, 11G-P4-6391-KR, 11GB GDDR5X, iCX Cooler & LED Same Price, so which is really the better choice? I run 3 monitors, all 4k, and an Oculus.
  4. Greetings, I am currently using a Duel 980 sli setup, and am looking to upgrade. Not sure which way to go, now that actual bench marks are out. Here is my current setup Intel I7 6700K socket 1151 LGA watercooled Gigabyte Tech Z170x-Gaming 3 32G ddr 4 2800 Adata XPG Samsung EVO 960 M.2 Toshiba x300 4T hard drive Soundblaster Zx Inateck usb 3 4 port card. I currently use 1 Samsung U28E590 4k display center, with 2 U28E510 4k monitors on the side. They all run at 3840x2160 at 60hz on DP, and i have an Oculus setup. I know i could just drop the 1200 for a RTX 2080 TI, but man just doesnt look like the numbers make it worth it. Any advice would be appreciated.
