  1. Hi there, This particular motherboard only has a single ARGB header and information is scare as to the actual capabilities of this particular header. I'd like to find out if I can connect 7 Phanteks PH-F120D30 fans plus an AIO with ARGB as well. The stock fans on the AIO is going to be replaced with 3 of the Phanteks fans. The fan specs mention something about having 30 LEDs per fan possibly. Link to fans: https://phanteks.com/PH-F120D30.html Link to AIO: https://www.fractal-design.com/products/water-cooling/lumen/lumen-s36/lumen-s36/ Unfortunately I don't really understand Watts and Volts and maximum number of LEDS that a single ARGB header can handle. If anyone can assist, it would be greatly appreciated!
  2. Hi there, Just a quick question here. As the title says, does anyone know if the aforementioned Dell monitors have the same panel and bezel dimensions? I currently own a S2721DGFA and want to get two G2724D monitors in a triple landscape setup. I'm really hoping that they will align perfectly. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
  3. Good day, I'm currently looking at getting a triple monitor mount for three 27 inch monitors. Unfortunately, there is not a wide variety of options to choose from within my region. I'd like to mount all three in landscape orientation. I'm considering this one: https://www.equip-info.net/equipinfo_en/650116-13-27-articulating-triple-monitor-desk-mount-bracket-650116 Does anyone have any experience using this particular mount? Can't really find much in terms of reviews for it. I'm concerned about monitor alignment issues. Please see attached image. Any advise is greatly appreciated.
  4. Hi there! Just a quick question, does the protruding ANC nub on the Arctis Nova Pro's exist on the Nova 7's and possibly on the new Nova 4's as well? I currently own the Arctis 5 and I'm wanting to upgrade to a wireless headset. I have bigger ears and I'm concerned about the nub. I've been considering getting the older 7+ instead for that reason. Not having Bluetooth is not a dealbreaker. Any advice is greatly appreciated! EDIT: After scouring through many videos, it seems as the Nova 7's do not have the protruding ANC nub.
  5. Unfortunately I'm not able to get either of those AIOs locally... it sucks So then I'm guessing a 280mm would be a suitable combination with 9700?
  6. Hi everyone, I'm planning a platform upgrade to Ryzen 7000 and I'm considering getting a Ryzen 9 9700X. I'm not intending on pushing any major overclocks. My goal is for longevity of the CPU before having to upgrade again. Would a 280mm AIO be sufficient or am I pushing my luck? Would it depend on the particular brand and model? I'm specifically wanting to go AIO over air cooling. I don't really have a valid reason, just looks cool Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
  7. Hi there, I have a laptop with an existing Gen 3 SSD and would like to add a second one. The second slot is Gen 4 capable. As the title says, would Gen 4 consume noticeably more power and output more heat overall compared to Gen 3? I'm not too concerned about performance. The higher priority is having more storage capacity and the least amount of power consumption. Any advice is greatly appreciated
  8. Update, after re-seating all components, pc randomly reboot itself. In event viewer, it is showing this bug check error. See attached. At this point I don't know what to do...
  9. Are there any other things I could try in the meantime? What would generally cause this type of issue?
  10. I will try that. I'll start off with a single ram module and see if that helps.
  11. I also tried that a few times. The first time it reported corruption issues which it fixed but didn't solve the issue. Also subsequent attempts did not show any corruption. Also tried running check disk on boot. Apparently it did repair the os drive but I'm not sure if that would fix the issue.
  12. I've tried disabling xmp as well. Ram speed is stuck at 2133 mhz otherwise I can't boot. Also tried locking the voltage to 1.23 before. None of these work unfortunately.
  13. I've reset it quite a few times but it hasn't made a difference. I'm a bit hesitant to update it as the next update is a beta version.
  14. Good day, I've seen there are many posts like this one, where many people have been experiencing similar issues to me, but with a few differences. PC SPECS: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X MB: MSI X470 M4 Gaming AC RAM: G.Skill F4-3600C18D-16GTZN Trident Z Neo 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3600MHz CL18 GPU: MSI GTX 1660Ti Gaming X STORAGE: 500GB NVMe SSD + 4TB HDD OS: Windows 11 Pro (Recently upgraded from 10 few days ago in hopes of solving this issue) BIOS: 7B&&v1E (2020-06-16) - latest non-beta bios For the past few months, at purely random times, my pc would become completely unresponsive. These crashes happen at completely random points, I can be playing games, watching videos on youtube or leaving the pc at idle. Both monitors would go black / lose signal (I would get a no signal detected message), all the case fans would ramp up to full speed (I can hear a noticeable sound increase), the RGB software would stop working after about 30 seconds later and all RGB component colours would default to rainbow. I would have to hold in the power button to hard shutdown and restart. I've tried testing with num lock and all caps to see if the keyboard is responsive but neither work. I've check temperatures and all seems fine - I'm not sure if redoing the thermal paste for the cpu and gpu would make a difference. I've checked Event Viewer and the only error I can find relates to an improper shutdown. Please see attached screenshot. I've recently done a clean Windows 11 install, thinking that perhaps a clean installation would help, but it hasn't made a difference, as I've experienced this on Windows 10 as well. I'm wondering if maybe the issue could be RAM compatibility. The modules I've got have never been 100% compatible with the MB. In the past, I've tried to enable XMP but it does not have any effect. If I manually set the ram speed to 3600Mhz, then the system does not boot. I've also checked the ram compatibility list for the MB and they are not listed. I'm grabbing at straws with this one... Any assistance would be greatly appreciated
  15. Hi there, I am considering using a power supply cable extension kit for my new build but it has raised a question... I know you can buy extension kits and cable kits, but can you use extension kits as cables on their own? In other words, can they plug directly into the power supply and into its respective component? For example, could Cooler Master's or Phanteks cable extension kits be used as replacement cables? http://www.phanteks.com/Extension-Cables.html https://www.coolermaster.com/catalog/power-supplies/#!/Serie=Cable Kit Assuming that the specific power supply uses standardised connectors. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
  16. Hi there, I removed the existing template as I already know what major components I'm needing and I have a rough idea of my build plan. My query pertains to the corsair RGB ecosystem and its components, as I'm planning on switching my system components to corsair. Here is a summary of my build plan: CASE: Corsair Spec Omega RGB (expecting next week) CPU: Ryzen 5 3600X (already have) MOBO: MSI X470 Gaming M7 AC (already have) GPU: MSI 1660TI Gaming X (already have) RAM: 16GB Trident Z Neo 3600Mhz (already have) AIO: Corsair iCue H100i RGB Pro XT (need to get) FANS: 6x Corsair LL120 fans (need to get) LED STRIPS: 2x RGB Strips (need to get) AIO SITUATION: AIO (240MM) in the front with a fan below it. I'm also going to replace the included ML fans with LL series. LED STRIP SITUATION: I would like to have 2 RGB Strips. I could either get these: https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/iCUE-CONTROLLERS/CORSAIR-Link-RGB-LED-Lighting-Kit/p/CL-8930001 or these: https://www.corsair.com/eu/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/iCUE-CONTROLLERS/iCUE-LS100-Smart-Lighting-Strip-Expansion-Kit-450mm/p/CD-9010001-WW/LL Is there any major difference between these two strip types? I know the LS series has more leds per strip but would they be compatible with my RGB build plan? Also, would they connect directly into the Commander Pro, as I see it does have two connectors available for strips? MOTHERBOARD SITUATION: My motherboard has a "JCorsair" header to which a lighting node pro can be connected. Would this header be of any relevance / use or would the lighting node pro be connected to the commander pro as shown in my included diagram? CORSAIR CONTROLLERS SITUATION: I know I would need the Commander Pro, and a Lightning Node Pro but that's where my understanding ends. I am also aware that a 3 pack fan comes with an RGB Fan LED Hub. So all in all, what exactly do I need and how many of each do I need? In terms of the types of hubs - commander pro, lighting node pro, RGB Fan LED Hub etc. Please can each hub / controller be listed with a respective quantity. Please also be aware that the case comes with an included lighting node pro. Here is an included diagram that I have found. If it is easier, all the items that I won't be needing can be edited / crossed out. I know this is a lot, but I greatly appreciate any assistance offered. This is my first time dealing with the corsair RGB ecosystem. I will buy anyone who can assist a virtual coffee, should such a thing become available in the next few years Many thanks in advance!
  17. I've found out that you can do it but I've decided to forgo that in order to avoid hassles.
  18. Hi there RonnyDouglas, I appreciate your reply to my inquiry. Hypothetically speaking, if lets say I won't be able to mount the 240 AIO on the top due to clearance issues, I'd go for a 360 for the front. However, the corsair ones are super expensive. Would I be able to source a cheaper, different brand 360 AIO and replace those fans that come with that brand with corsair fans that I already have?
  19. Hi there, I'm looking to confirm radiator compatibility with the Corsair Spec Omega RGB. According to Corsair's website, it can accommodate a 240mm AIO on the top. I've watched a few review videos, and the answers seems to differ. One video in particular mentioned that there would not be enough clearance between the top of the case and the motherboard heatshit. Can anyone verify if the case can indeed accommodate a 240mm at the top? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
  20. Pardon my late response to the post. I managed to find an I/O shield, but I did gain some valuable CAD skills in the process. Thanks for all the advice, its greatly appreciated!
  21. I'd love to own one myself, I'd never stop playing around with it and seeing what weird stuff I can print
  22. I suppose I could but it won't be completely accurate. Maybe I'm lucky and someone very kind can CAD it for me.
  23. Yea I did. I couldn't find anything. Maybe if someone has that particular I/O shield and could throw it on CAD for me.
