  1. But If you disregard the price and the refresh rate, and rather consider resolution and color gamut, wouldn't https://www.amazon.com/LG-32UL950-W-Ultrafine-Thunderbolt-Connectivity/dp/B07NS7JKJH/ref=as_li_ss_tl?keywords=32ul950&qid=1553539268&s=gateway&sr=8-1&linkCode=sl1&linkId=4bec7c9d994ae37908ea59de8f56bb22&language=en_US&th=1&tag=linus21-20 be better?
  2. SOLUTION MAYBE: https://www.amazon.com/LG-32UL950-W-Ultrafine-Thunderbolt-Connectivity/dp/B07NS7JKJH/ref=as_li_ss_tl?keywords=32ul950&qid=1553539268&s=gateway&sr=8-1&linkCode=sl1&tag=pcce-20&linkId=4bec7c9d994ae37908ea59de8f56bb22&language=en_US&th=1 This one has best color accuracy and HDR and is 4k. If someone else has a better solution please reply. I'm looking for something exactly like this but IPS.
  3. Tldr: I'm looking for a 4k ips monitor within $500 that has HDR/10bit Color and other reasonable specs.
  4. Some monitors I've looked at but just didn't seem to cut it for one reason or another: https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/fbf41936 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XT7S2K3/ref=emc_b_5_t?th=1 https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-LC27JG50QQNZA-Curved-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B07FBNNWVV/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=sl1&tag=hardwunbox-20&linkId=fe8fa1aa85ddf0fe90ab47ed1fe0e3b6&language=en_US https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/91d8c5f https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-27UK650-W-4k-uhd-led-monitor
  5. Hi everyone. I'm looking for a monitor, that's below $500, however I can go a bit above that. I've found that this price range isn't enough to have all the features of an "incredible" display, however I still want to find one. Looking for: HDR - whether or not is it good quality HDR Color: At least 91% adobe coverage Resolution: 4k or 1440p Response time: Preferred 5ms or below, higher will be accepted. Panel Type: IPS or VA (Only if it is comparable to IPS quality) Brightness: Above 300cd/m^2 Contrast 3000:1 or better
  6. Ok so after 5 or more times of installing the files to the installation drive, we finally got it to work??? My guess is unreliable installation media??? Anyway. All help has been greatly appreciated. This is after installing another new drive 250gb hdd. So idk what it is. Just glad it works now. How anticlimactic is that.
  7. This is very odd. I feel like I must be doing something wrong becaue the drive allows partitions to be made and it just doesn't appear on the list.
  8. It wasn't there after disabling raid, in the list of drives to install windows on. So I cleaned the drive again and still nothing. I think I'll try to install linux. I saw some videos on youtube of trying to manually install the drivers it said were missing but none of that was working either. Gone off to work. Do you think another hard drive would work?
  9. Yes... It's there and in diskpart again accidentally switched on raid but it's back to normal now. awaiting advice
  10. I'm trying to install windows. I'm getting "A media driver your computer needs is missing" The hard drive is detected in the bios. I've also tried other usb ports, cleaning the drive, reinitializing the drive but it seems windows really wants the drivers. The hard drive seems to be responsive and works, but I can't find the drivers online. That I have to select from in the menu. I've tried some things in the bios but that didn't seem to work. I've looked through other forum posts as well but can't seem to figure it out. Help. Please. SSD: WD Blue 3D NAND 500GB Internal PC SSD
  11. Does it happen when you are home alone? Also full system specs?
  12. Sounds like a router issue, what’s the model?
