  2. Video.mov Dear Tech Gurus, Yesterday I took out my old parts from old PC and out them in to my new NZXT case along with a new gaming motherboard (Asrock Z68 Professional Series Gen 3). I built my PC and it booted normally and I installed Windows and everything was going well, except for the fact I had to switch over to SATA 2 (3GB/s) as SATA 3 (6GB/s) wasn't working and the front panel USB 3.0 connectors were not working. I checked my BIOS version and it was on the newest one but the BETA version was more recent and was supporting more features. So I went from version 2.20 to L.23A and I proceeded to flash my bios. I was in the BIOS and I headed over to Instant Flash and chose my file and let it run for around 2 minutes. It then came up with the text box "Programming Success... Press any key to Reboot" and that was the last of my pc. I rebooted and had absolutely nothing on any of my monitors, my fans are spinning like normal but the motherboard code light is going crazy. Can someone let me know what I should do as I know that if a BIOS update is interrupted then you basically need a new motherboard. My motherboard was functioning before and I updated the bios succesfully and now when I rebooted it just doesn't give out any signal and the update wasn't interrupted. I would reallly appreciate it if someone could help me out. 3. Yep, @Mephi00... It depends mate, how much do you have the memory clocked at right now?
  4. My PC would lock up and the mouse would work and everything, but no applications would open and my screen would look a bit transparent
  5. Hey @Gothfather, I honestly had the EXACT same issue with Windows 10. I had a decent PC, but all of a sudden it would just crash. You wouldn't notice it but then my screen would just freeze. I tried basically everything I could... like seriously everything. It was too late, because the problem was with the actual installation of Windows 10. Then on one startup of my PC it said your PC has ran into a problem. Let us restart for you. Then all my bootmgr files were missing and corrupted, then i had install a fresh new copy of windows 10 then it ran perfectly fine. I advise you to not do the same mistake that I did because I just left it and thought it wasn't a big deal. I advise you to backup all your important files then download Windows again. Hope i helped you.
