am in the ukam looking for surge protector similar to this linkhttps://www.amazon.co.uk/Masterplug...lly+switched+extension+socket+surge+protectora 6 way or 8 way individually switched surge protector but i want the sockets going across in a straight line like the masterpugi have some belkin surge protectors but they not individually swiched, they have a 1<NS response time problem with this masterplug i linked it has a worse response time of 10<NSand a lower joules ratinganyone know of a similar product to the master plug i linked with a better response time and higher joules rating if possible for a similar price?let me know please of a reliable manufacturer of indiviually swiched surge protector

need some help buying a hi fi with speakers am thinking of going for either these below prices can change slightly couple weeks ago the denon are marantz were £30 or so cheaper 1. Denon DM41 https://www.richersounds.com/hi-fi/mini-hi-fi/denon-dm41-dab-blk.html 2. Marantz MCR611 https://www.richersounds.com/hi-fi/mini-hi-fi/marantz-mcr611-blk.html you think either of these be good for me which would you prefer and why? who are more reliable? on the speakers i just dont know what to get so many speakers i see so many reviews saying the Q Acoustics 3020 are good but some reviews about how it lacks in bass? i dont blast, play my hi fi out loud just comfortable levels at computer i think it works out cheaper if you buy the speakers with the hi fi usually? am trying to get 1 of these hi fi with the speakers for around £300 as this is my budget what speakers would you recommend for me over the acoustics or they best for my budget?

just writing this last part again as the last line as spelling errors do you have an arm? not sure if moving the arm off to one side of them more adjustable arms if that the monitor closer to the wall compared to the more static arm in video above

just to add monitor will be 24 inches am looking get getting this when prices drops soon hopefully https://www.samsung.com/uk/monitors/curved-cf73/LC24FG73FQUXEN/ the stand is height adjustable but i seen picture were to get in low position the arm extends out so will be to close for me i need an arm were it just goes up and down really with not a big depth to it i could move the arm to one side if it gets the arm closer to the wall compared to the arm i linked in the video i need am arm lower than 150mm depth as need monitor closer to the wall do you have an arm? not sure if moving the arm off to one side of them more adjustable arms if that the monitor closer to the wall compated tot he ore static arm in video above

hi am in uk looking for a 100x 100mm monitor arm my room is very small problem is many monitor arms will hit the wall when adjusting like you need space behind your desk for the arm to move i dont have this space as my table up against the wall but i need this arm in video were it does up not hitting the wall if you could look at video something like this ideal for me but he says near end of video the depth is 150mm which be to big as the monitor wille extend the depth even more anyone know of a monitor arm with a lower depth as i need monitor closer to the wall please

am looking at getting a new hi fi but there are some things am unsure of regarding speakers i seen on richersounds in uk there selling a panasonic hi fi not with panasonic speakers but different manufacturer speakers there is a Denon hi fi with Q Acoustics speakers if you look at the link below https://www.richersounds.com/hi-fi/mini-hi-fi-system-deals/denon-dm41-dab-silver-q-acoustics-3010-matte-graphite.html would it not be better to get Denon hi fi with Denon speakers? why sell different manufactuer speakers with hi fi? what is recommended best? does buying different manufacturer speakers with hi fi usually increase the price if you getting same quality or better qulaity speakers?

SolaNova thanks again for the replys i know response times different to input lag recently i just dont know the input lag of my PLS samsung tv T24D390 but being a tv it must be bad because i find it terrible in fifa to control my players TN panels are best for gaming but i also use my computer so if i can get an IPS or VA panel with alot better response time than my 24 inch samsung tv would be really good why displaylag test the samsung CFG70 montior without low input lag enabled i dont know if they did this, they may have measured the input lag a different way to pcmonitors.info input lag of 4ms maybe thats why result so different, it confuses me as i dont think all sites measure the same way i been looking around and have come up with 3 monitors but dont know which one to go for 1. Samsung CFG73 as newer version software over the CFG70 2 LG 24MP88HV 3. Dell U2417H displaylag.com they tested the LG 24MP88HV and got a input lag of 10ms and 24 ms on the samsung CFG70 but did they have the low input lag enabled? if no had displaylag had it enabled would they have likely got 4ms like pcmonitors.info ? which would have the better input lag between the Samsung CFG70 and LG24MP88HV ? out of the 3 which would you think be best

wanting a new monitor when gaming or computer for hours do you prefer matt, glossy, semi glossy? which you find more comfortable for your eyes? i think glossy monitors the colors can pop more looks better, sharper image like text etc also you agree or no? i ask as i have a glossy HPx2301 pc monitor TN panel not flicker free and a matt TV samsung T24D390S PLS panel flicker free both 24 inches i think i do need glasses but when i swtich every couple weeks or so i find with my samsung tv makes my eyes feel more weird like i need glasses more for looking at my samsung is this because my samsung is a matt screen so harder to focus on screen compared to my glossy hp monitor or is this because a 24 inch pc monitor have more pixels than a 24 inch tv so i can sit closer to screen more comfortably to a pc monitor or no? does a same size monitor have more pixels than same size tv so you can sit closer? let me know your asnwers, opinions experienes please

thanks SolarNova and Untilted for a reply i would get the CFG73 over the CFG70 has it newer does have some software improvements i think so if i put the samsung monitor in low input lag mode on console at 60hz the input lag will be around 4ms this correct? when display lag measured at 24ms is this because they not have low input lag mode selected on or a different reason with how they measure input lag? when set the picure mode to fastest mode it think it can cause over shooting? so not sure can use fastest mode? main game am going to be playing is fifa a fast paced game i think is that were ghosting is like mosty to happen in a fast paced game? by the way the samsung tv i use is in the link below https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/LT24D390SW/XU/ i find the input lag so bad slow response to my controller, in samsung specs of my tv it has a 15ms response time in its specs although they not always tell the truth of there response times? i dont know what its input lag is does anyone know? i want a new monitor though for my computer and which can also do console thats why i want IPS or VA as TN has not so good colors would this CFG73 have a much better input lag than my samsung tv?

please try answer my question this is something i have noticed for years but asking now a question about pc monitors with console i need try explain this fully so you can hopefully fully understand me the xbox one console in its settings as shwon in picture, on video output there are 2 different color choices of RGB PC and Standard Recommended, i assume this standard recommended setting is RGB limited the standard option is default which the xbox recommends so connecting my samung tv the colors looks great as tvs have RGB limited color space but i have a HP x2301 which is a pc monitor with a better response time so i connect this to xbox, my HP monitor does color RGB FULL color as its a pc monitor, on my pc colors look fine but when i connect my HP monitor to my xbox one the colors look so so bad, horrible so in xbox settings video output in color space were it has the standard recommended option selected which i know is RGB limited i change xbox to color PC RGB then my HP monitor colors look alot better as the xbox now matches my monitor RGB full color i understand this colors need be set for correct for tv or monitor connected but i dont get this different feeling in gameplay am going to explain now i notice when playing on my HP in PC RGB color on xbox when am playing say a game of fifa the gameplay feels different bit quicker did not feel right to me so in xbox settings during a game of fifa i changed the color back to standard recommended colors went horrible again but the game now felt bit slower i notice when xbox is on standard recommended color the game plays bit slower than on color PC RGB then when switch back to PC RGB the game feels different again e.g on PC RGB gamplay feels abit quicker harder to time my skill moves sometimes its like also they dont register as good because the pace of the game has got a fraction bit faster but noticable were as on changing back to color standard recommended again fifa feels bit slower can time my skill moves better and register more consistently feels easier to do also seem have that extra fraction of time to pass ball around easier when opponent pressures me around pitch the point am getting at is i just expect when changing in xbox settings between PC RGB and standard recommened just the colors to change not the feel of how the game plays i actaully play better on xbox being color standard recommended but the colors look so bad for my HP monior on this standard setting i dont know about other first person shooter games think it harder to notice but in a fast paced game like fifa i notice this big difference why is the game feeling different on fifa? when switching the color on xbox? my tv has a rubbish response time so i try play with my HP monitor with a better response time but because of how bad the colors are when using my HP monitor on color standard recommended i cant do this so back to tv with bad response let me know please your opinions you can try a game out yourself if you have fifa, maybe it does on another game i not sure but fifa it does

am concerned the samsung 24 CFG70 input lag 24ms is to high i seen a forum suggest its actually 4ms but dont know for sure about its input lag to game with

thanks for the reply nova the samsung has a 24ms input lag as shown in that picture above but your saying it has 4ms? let me know please there 2 like same models of this samsung monitor the 1st link had problems with purple trail 1 https://www.samsung.com/uk/monitors/curved-cfg70fqu/LC27FG70FQUXEN/ were as this 2nd link think it more of an updated firmware i think so may be better for this but still issues with purple pixel i not sure 2. https://www.samsung.com/uk/monitors/curved-cf73/LC24FG73FQUXEN/ but i did read a comment about how someone moaned the response of this VA panel unless they were talking about the older firmware not sure they wrote not great like it felt over 20ms your saying it 4ms? looks like nice monitor am just unsure of its gaming performance
