  1. I’m visiting Minsk at the moment (Belarus), and the weather here often drops below 10 degrees C below zero, in such cold, my iPhone XR lcd starts freaking out, and becomes pretty much unusable due to ghosting (worse than E-ink displays, there’s a good 2 seconds of response time). I was wondering if such behavior is normal, and wether I should go and replace the phone under warranty. I wasn’t getting such problem with my previous phone (S8 with OLED).
  2. Over here it costs around 450€ but I think I’m in love with it. Probably going to save up for a bit longer. Thanks.
  3. I have seen the video and nothing in it really cuts it.
  4. I’ve been looking for a decent 1440p, 144Hz display for about 2 months now, but still cannot find anything under 250-300 euros/dollars. I value colors, contrast and brightness over response times, but still would really like that 144Hz fluidity, as my most and main played game is War Thunder. For now, the only thing that seemed to kind of fit my needs is the Samsung C27JG52 (1440p, 144Hz, VA, 4ms, curved), at least from the specs, as there isn’t a lot about it online, but recently it went up exponentially in price, at least in my country (Italy). Other options are 1080p 144Hz, from Aoc or Asus, but my GPU (RX580) doesn’t really hold up in that case, because I have to do 4x SSAA otherwise it looks like a**. Does anyone have any recommendations? I’m coming from 1080p 60Hz 9ms IPS.
  5. Oh, how interesting. Read several forums and reviews saying that Corsair power supplies had many problems, especially with heat dissipation and fan (the fan would break or be very loud), and after that decided to go with EVGA, as everyone said it was a good PSU... Corsair power supplies are rather expensive where I live, is it really that bad? I'm saving up for some speakers atm.
  6. A week ago, I've built my first PC with a Ryzen 5 2600x and an RX580, hanging from a 450W EVGA power supply (Full Build) It performs rather well, but the GPU is F-ing massive and outputs more heat than my oven, and because of that i went online and checked a couple of websites on the power requirements of this thing, and apparently, most of the websites tell me that a 450W PSU is not really enough to carry this thing. Now, pcpartpicker tells me I'm well under the limit, and the PC is stable over several hours of gaming (during which the psu stays quiet and cool, so cool that I cannot feel any heat coming from it). Should I bump up the PSU wattage a bit now that I still have time to swap it with amazon?
  7. Yeah it IS available, but it says it arrives in a month or so, and especially in Italy, a month or so means up to 4 months sometimes.
  8. H500 is way too expensive for my budget in my country, and the Masterbox 5 mesh is not really appealing to me. I love the design of cases like S340 elite, Corsair 275R, or even something along the lines of Corsair 580X, but they are all either out of budget (580X) or completely airtight, choking all the fans, especially the front ones. I really love the Meshify C, design and airflow wise, but again, I cannot find one that reliably delivers or sells in a nearby store, here in Italy, Rome. I think I'll have to go with an S340 Elite or a 275/270 R....
  9. That's not really what I'm looking for.... It is quite ugly from the side.
  10. So I need to make a new build, and I need a case: Under 100/125€ (I live in Italy) Minimalistic and clean design (Important!!) ATX and mATX OR mATX only Decent airflow Preferred tempered glass, required window Support for up to 360mm+ radiators Decent Cable Management RGB strip included (very prefferably, weird reason to explain why) Not wider than 20 cm (up to somewhere around 26 is the limit)
  11. So I will start off saying: I spent like almost half of my young life on cheap laptops. And with those laptops, came cheap keyboards. Typical, cheap, 3mm or so travel, membrane or whatever the heck keyboards. I got really used to them, and soon I will be building my first desktop PC, that will have to have, some sort of keyboard. I couldn't really find any type of keyboard that would be similar to what I'm used to on amazon Italy (And I will order only from there, for many reasons), but there are some Drevo mechanical keyboards, which I'm really interested in, because of tight desk space and their 75% layout with mainly Blue, Black, Red and Brown (outemu I think) switches. Now, I am really skeptical about mechanical: I know there are testers, but that seems pointless to me, especially considering I'm on a tight budget. I am considering 2 switches mainly right now: Blues and Browns. Mainly, I do lots of writing, but at the same time, lots of gaming. I also live in a pretty small house with my parents and my brother and all, so noise is of concern (yet the door will always be closed when using the keyboard), yet I REALLY love the sound of blue switches. So, main question: how loud exactly are blues? Are they silent enough not to disturb people 20 meters away behind 1 closed door, even late at night with total silence everywhere? Are the browns quieter? Or should I just ignore mechanical, and search for a low profile membrane such as Razer Deathstalker and similar? Also, how heavy are the keys to press, can I comfortably rest my fingers on the keys without them sagging down or even actuating under the bare weight of a finger? Many thanks in advance to whom is willing to take the time to answer so many questions.)
  12. Oh, and BTW I already have plenty storage, including nvme, so I don't have to worry about that.
  13. Technically, pretty good for me. Consider that I intend to order all parts from amazon because it is my first PC build and I want something reliable, plus I never bought on any other online store in Italy, and in general, e-stores here have pretty bad reputation because of tax fraud and stuff like that. As for the build, I'm not building it immediately, so I hope prices will drop further so I can go below the €800 budget mark. Right now whole build goes at €890 It consists of: Ryzen 5 1600: €150 GTX 1070ti : €470 AsRock AB350M Pro4: €70 2 × 4 DDR4 2666 Ballistix sport: €90 Corsair CX550 semi-modular: €60 Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1: €40 I am hoping after GPU prices drop down some more I will be able to get a more decent case, like the 270R from Corsair, and maybe a better processor (2600 for example, it's around €185 - 210 right now), but for now I'm idling and waiting for further prices drop. Watcha think?
  14. Btw I live in Italy, and finding a 1070ti at 475€ here is incredibly rare, all other cards in this tier start from 550€+ (with decent delivery times)
  15. So: Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 3.1 (Instead of Corsair 270R) Motherboard: B350M Pro4(Instead of B360 Aorus Gaming 3 wifi). Processor: For now R5 1600 (Instead of i5 8400) GPU: 1070ti Zotac Mini (Instead of Zotac 1060 6GB AMP!) PSU: 550W Corsair CX, no downgrade here RAM: 8GB DDR4 2666 ballistix Storage: I have a 128GB ssd and 1TB hard drive from my laptop, that will get an older unused hard drive instead. Total is floating around 880$, while before it was aroumd 820$, but 1070ti is way too tempting for me for just 60$ more.
