  2. bios is up to date and tried a fresh install of windows, updated the chipset and elgato drivers. same result

  4. yes sir! reinstalled it a lot as well but ending up on the same result.
  5. Good Day Everyone, I just want to seek assistance regarding my issue with my capture card on my new motherboard. I recently upgrade my processor and motherboard which is a i9 10900k and ROG MAXIMUS XII FORMULA from i7 7700k and z270 Gigabyte motherboard. My capture works fine on my old hardware and upon upgrading to the new one i am encountering a lot of issue with it. First one is its intermittently disappearing from my device manager and saying that its not connected to my motherboard which it is. What i usually to fix it is to switch from Auto to GEN3 speed for that specific PCIE that the capture card is connected. Second issue is that it would take a good 10-15 minutes for it to initialize and will end up not working, detecting my console which is a PS4 Slim. I've researched a lot and contacted already Elgato support and waiting for them to respond but I remember that this forum is very helpful to me in the past and looking forward if someone could give me some feedback or assistance regarding this issue. Thank you!
  6. Good Day Everyone, I just want to ask if there is a proper way go flash your GPU BIOS? I've been following this post [https://graphicscardhub.com/gpu-bios-update-tools/] but i am stuck at step 3 : Now make a backup of your current VBIOS using these GPU BIOS Update tools because if anything goes wrong with the new VBIOS then you can safely roll back to your older VBIOS. You can also create a backup of your current GPU BIOS using GPU-Z. After backing up your current BIOS you can now flash your BIOS to the newer one by executing the following commands. For Nvidia Graphics Cards [NVFlash] nvflash [options] <filename> It gives me the screen when i run nvflash64 but it doesn't allow me to type anything. REASON FOR UPDATING MY GPU BIOS: Game's wont run or crash when OC Mode is toggled on Aorus GPU Software I haven't tried it yet to boot via bootable device since it says that it should work on windows but mine wont. MY GPU: AORUS GeForce® GTX 1080 Ti 11G and here is my GPU-Z And i am trying to update is to this bios version: Looking forward for your feedback! Thank you in advance
  7. Thanks for dropping by and giving your feedback! I will go with your recommendations!

  9. This should be the answer I've been looking for. Thanks for your input man!
  10. This does make sense. But i guess those PCIE lanes would come in handy if i added more storage for my edited videos?
  11. Good Day Everyone, I just want to get some additional input from this forum regarding my upcoming upgrade from my i7-7700k. I'm planning to switch to team RED since it offers value and performance and i am looking on this two options below: AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950x with X399 AORUS Gaming 7 for $550 (Second Hand) AMD Ryzen 9 3950x will be pairing with AORUS mobo but i haven't decided yet (Brand New) I've done a little bit of research and the noticeable difference between this two is 1950x only uses PCIE Gen 3 unlike 3950x uses PCIE Gen 4. The purpose of this upgrade would be for a streaming, editing and gaming machine. Looking forward for your feedback as always! Thank you in advance.
