  1. New (first build) started black screening (screen off and on again), first thought was nvidia driver issue after googling- reinstalled the driver only but didn’t fix. More googling led my to up the cpu voltage to 1.3v and all is good so far. Was this ok to do? CPU running at 60C during gaming so a little warmer than before. ryzen 5 2600 2x8gb Corsair 3000 (running at 2133!?!) seasonic 550 cooler msi b450 tomahawk mobo asus 1060 6gb
  2. Thanks! I’ve now done that and it’s all good! Anything else I should be doing after my (first) build? Installing antivirus etc.
  3. Just finished build and tried to flash the bios- which I started but after selecting the file on the usb stick and it installing- it reboots to ‘reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media’ error! Can anyone help as I worried I’ve screwed up badly!!!
  4. Thanks- the mobo manual only mentions connecting a led strip to the rgb header, and can’t find any info on the web.
  5. First build- bit confused how to connect the rgb hub that came with my CiT raider case to the B450 mobo. The only connector I got with the case is pictured with the hub. Am I missing a lead? What is the cable? There’s no manual available for the case which doesn’t help. https://flic.kr/p/2azi9oB https://flic.kr/p/NrCPtW
  6. Apart from looking better, is the tomahawk a better choice over the MSI B450? (With a Ryzen 5 2600) Also, if I use an M.2 SSD, is losing 2 SATA ports bad? (I'm a near-total amateur...)
  7. Thanks, its a nightmare deciding!
  8. Thanks. I’m guessing an IPS screen is out of my budget?
  9. Thanks. Limited for space so 24-25” is better. (Am in Europe btw)
