  1. I don’t believe it’s for “amusement”. I doubt amazon pays groups of employees to just sit in a circle and listen to audio snippets for the fun of it. They are trying to make the product work better. Don’t like it, don’t buy it. Literally that simple.
  2. I recently picked up an Asus S15 S530 and I love it. 15 inch screen, super thin bezels, webcam is good enough, 8th gen processor, 8gb ram, 256 ssd (I think it’s an m.2 not sure) decent size trackpad with a finger print scanner. Amazon has it for about $680 US. Word is that it has room to put in an additional ssd but haven’t opened mine up yet. Overall build quality is decent. Keyboard is nice and strong and the keys are spaced out nicely. Even has a 10 key on it. I needed it for school and after researching for a few days I found this was the best possible laptop for me within my price range.
  3. Output Mode: Simple Video bitrate: 5000 Encoder: Software (x264) Audio bitrate: 160 Server: Automatic
  4. I recently decided that i wanted to start streaming casually. Nothing serious just something to do. Im not trying to get crazy good quality (1080p 30fps would be ideal) but i am struggling. ive tried just about every quality and fps combination i can. I have also tried using player.me and obs. obs is slightly better but both are extremely choppy in any game i play. I am not using a camera or anything just basic streaming of my game. I am new to this so i know im doing something wrong. Wondering if anyone knows of any tips or even a video that might help break things down. I have tried searching for videos but there are thousands upon thousands of videos and i dont know where to start.. I have a high end system. 2080, i7-9700k. 32gb ddr4, windows 10 and 200mb download 20mb upload internet so at least i believe i should be able to stream with no issue. Any tips would be great!
  5. Not sure if this belongs here but I was just trying to join floatplane and I cannot find out how. I get routed to a page with some error. I just want to give money in exchange for viewing content.
  6. If my computer is on I will almost always have music playing so I probably wouldn’t be able to hear anything
  7. Even at 1440p? I upgraded to a new monitor and I’ve noticed some slight issues when maxing out more graphic heavy titles and I have a 2080. What monitor do you have if you don’t mind me asking? I thought for sure it was my system. Maybe I’m just doing something wrong. I also could have unrealistic expectations.
  8. I know I’m not in need necessarily. I’ve noticed some slight issues when I got a new monitor so I started thinking of something with more power and my brother really wants a pc but isn’t in a position where he can get one so I figured might as well build a new one for me and give him my current one.
  9. So I posted a few weeks back about a build I wanted to do and was looking for any advice as for this is my first build. After doing some research and a few things selling out I have made some adjustments and thankfully my job had a bunch of overtime available in the past few weeks so it’s time to make this a reality. Hoping to get some deals this weekend but who knows. Anyway any advice would be appreciated. I have storage already and a Gpu...thanks for reading and enjoy whatever it is you celebrate this time of year (if anything)! https://pcpartpicker.com/user/iTakeThings/saved/cj3vnQ
  10. That’s a game I can get behind. Hope they open a public beta.
  11. I have about 30 minutes of fortnite under my belt and that number will probably never increase. Not my cup of tea.
  12. Yeah currently have a WD blue 2tb hard drive. Thanks for the reply!
  13. So I’ve decided to look into building a new pc after getting a 2080. Currently have a msi z96 mobo 4790k 16gb ddr3 and a asus rog PG348Q monitor. Started by wanted new RAM only to find I would basically need new everything if I wanted ddr4 so decided to put this together. It will probably take 3 months or so to get everything but just looking for some input before I embark on this adventure. Oh yeah, this will be the first time building from the ground up but after countless hours of Linus and bitwit my nerves are somewhat at ease. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/iTakeThings/saved/Ltw8YJ
  14. So I just built a new desk and am looking for something to cover the top. I don’t want plexiglass thinking more like a dbrand skin but they do not take customer orders. Anyone know of any thin vinyl like material or just anything with an adhesive back that I should use?? And yes I know I messed the border up on the corner ?
