I don't have the brackets for my cooler yet is it possible the cpu could be overheating since the heatsink is not installed yet?

Don't get the 3gb version if you are going to get a 1060 get the 6gb. But I would recommend waiting for those new cards to come ; )

I have recently built a computer with everything except the hard drive because I do not have a sata cable yet. When I boot the system, it goes to BIOS and I can see all of my 10gb of ram is installed but thats all I can see because 3 seconds later it makes a clicking noise and shuts off. My specs are:cpu-AMD Athlon X4 860KMb- gigabyte ga-f2a68hm-ds2hram-10 Gb ddr3 kingston video card- xfx Radeon rx 550 4gDo you have any idea what is wrong? Thank you in advance
