  1. I produce a lot of media content including graphic design and video editing. Right now i have a 850 evo and a WD blue 1tb. When im working i tend to move a lot of heavy files so for that to go as smooth as possible with limited wait time i want to invest in NVME. I also play a lot of video games.
  2. Hey LTT forum! I was planning on buying an upgrade for storage and im thinking that the Samsung 970 Evo Plus would satisfy my needs. I wanted to buy the EK M.2 NVME heatsink in order to keep it cool. Do you think that the heastink will fit the 970 evo plus? EK doesnt list it under their compatibility list. Also, is it going to be a problem that my Asus strix z370-g has standing m.2 nvme slots? Thank you!
  3. Thank you for your help! I dont seem to be able to find the usb charging in Asus suite. Shouldnt the sata power be powering the cooler and not the usb?
  4. My keyboard used to light up when pressed before i set the ErP ready to s4+s5. I have installed the asus drivers from their website and the icue software for the AiO. The funny thing is that the lights are still on even with the psu switched off and the cable unplugged. Its was still going after 10 hours.
  5. Hello LTT. I just installed my new H115i on my Asus z370-g mobo and the led's on the aio wont stop reciving power when the pc is shutdown. I disabled fast boot and enabled ErP Ready for s4+s5 in bios. It is even still powered when the PSU is shtoff and the cable is plugged out. Does anyone have a fix for this, as i would like to sleep without my room lighting up in red. Thanks!
  6. Thanks. I think i'll leave it for now as this got way to complicated haha. Might get a new gpu as the rtx enters the market and 10-series might drop in price. Also the noice isnt noticable when wearing a headset(with sound)
  7. I ended up buying the xps 15 9570 with the i7-8750 and the 1050ti max-q although it only had a 56wh battery. I might just get a 2.5 hdd or saving up for another ssd as it only comes with 256gb. I ended up saving 625 dollars compared to the marketprice as i got 10% student discount and they had a campaign on this particular model. Thanks for the help guys!
  8. Hey. I've had the MSI GeForce GTX 1060 ARMOR - 3GB for a while now, and after doing some configurations on the fans while running some benchmarks i noticed that the zero frozr technology doesnt apply to this card. I cannot go below 49% fanspeed in afterburner and that goes for setting the up a fancurve aswell. I get around 40c with the fans at 49% but when i think about it, it is pretty loud actually. Anyone with a possible answer to this?
  9. Thanks. I would like it to have minimum 5-6 hours of batterylife.
  10. I actually found a Acer predator Helios 300 on DBA with i5-8300h for 5500dkk. After we settled on the deal and a meeting i recived a text message as i was on the train where he said that he sold it.. Real bummer. Anyways. The one you linked is a 17.3" and that would be a struggle to transport between school and home Would a i7-7700hq be a huge disappointment in comparison to the i5-8300 or i7-8350. I know that the 8th intel cpus has hyperthreading which allows cores to be "doubled".
  11. Lol nice one So you're saying that i should go for the xps 15 with 8gb ram, i5-8300h, 256gb ssd instead of the zenbook with 16gb ram, 512gb ssd and a i7-8750h? Still open to any other options, if you have anything in mind Such as the vivobook 15 at a much better price point but it only hosts a 7700hq
  12. Hey. Im from Denmark and my budget is 12-13000dkk / 1600 euros / 1900 dollars. I would like the laptop to have a weight of 2.5kg at max. Im up for a gaming pc but it has to have a IPS display with atleast 98% srgb and decent argb color gamut. I have done a bit of research and i think that it might be possible within that price range, but i cant seem to find anything. An i7 is crucial to videoediting right?
  13. Yes exactly. I dont think i will be spending much time in 3d rendering programs, but i would like the opportunity. I have been used to bulky designs so i would appreciate a suttle clean device.
  14. My budget is approx 12000dkk/1600 euros for gaming laptops. The Dell and Asus ones are 2000 euros, but i wouldnt complain if i spared some money in exchange of a couple added millimeters to the chassis of a gaming laptop
