  1. I did that with no gpu, 1 case fan and 1 stick of ram. Still same thing, its like the power button is broken, but I also tried to jump it with a screwdriver and nothing.
  2. So yesterday, I was playing COD for a few hours. Stepped away for a little came back to my normal black screen because my computer goes to sleep. Tried to wake it, nothing. Tried to power on or off by the start button, nothing. Tried to hold power button, nothing. So I unplugged it for a few seconds and then plugged back in. I get my motherboards rgb lights and a stand by orange light on the mobo but nothing else. Wont turn on. I dont get leds on my case buttons, nothing. Can anyone direct me in the right direction here? I already unassembled the whole rig and reassembled. Same scenario. Which sucks because I have an In Win A1 Plus case that has a built in psu. Specs: Ryzen 2600 Wraith Stealth Cooler Asus B450I Trident Z Royal 3000 2x8 MSI Gaming X 1660 Super 500 970 Evo NVME - Front Slot 500 WD Black NVME - Back Slot In Win 80+ Gold PSU 650watt I think In Win A1 Plus Case
  3. So, my work wants to build a dedicated rig for rendering only in the office. This would be used for Autodesk Revit and 2020 Design renderings. What would be the best cpu to get for this that is sub $300, the ryzen 3700x? I did a synthetic comparison between my laptops 9750h (which is what I render on now) and a Ryzen 2700 (which I was considering to buy at first), from that it is saying my laptops cpu is better for renderings but I find that hard to believe
  4. are you sure hes only running one single 8gb ram stick? You'll see an increase with duel channel 16gb.
  5. im running an 8750h with a rtx 2060 mobile and only hitting 120fps in games like black ops 4, 180ish in overwatch, 120 in fortnite. Settings on low or mid-low.
  6. No they are the same memory from Samsung 2666, cl-19, just different capacities. I just watched a few videos of people showing the FPS difference in gaming when running single channel vs duel and wanted to see if its true cause they were averages another 20-30 frames just for going to duel channel..
  7. I have an Asus Scar II laptop with a single 16gb ram stick. Can I put a compatible (probably Samsung or Crucial) 4gb stick in as well to get the duel channel benefits for fps without any hiccups, cause the size is far between? I've seen 8+4 and 16+8 but haven't seen 16+4.
  8. Hello, I was wondering, should a laptop consisting of a 8750H and a RTX 2060 be able to stream 1080p 60fps while maintaining a consistent 144fps in game, such as Overwatch, LOL, DBD, and so forth? It seems every time I try to stream anything really, my laptop instantly ramps up to 100% fans and starts micro stuttering in game with some longer periods of complete lag/ being frozen in game. Also, my stream does the same thing, stuttering, lagging, freezing. I figured this is almost the best you can buy atm in a laptop and should be able to at least stream Overwatch and LOL of all games without a problem at 1080p 60fps. I play all of my games on low/ lower mid settings to squeeze out 144 fps as it is, except for Overwatch and LOL which both run into the 200+fps sometimes. Laptop is a ASUS Scar II Intel 8750H RTX 2060 16gb Ram 500gb SSD External 144hz monitor by MSI
  9. Also, I play all games on low/lower settings to consistently hit 144fps, usually around 240fps is my actual fps in Overwatch at least.

  11. Ok, I did a -80 offset and I'll see if that does help a little. Thanks everyone for the advice
  12. I build on site with customers all over though, like I schedule a 3 hour time to come out and sit with them to build it out so they can see the whole process. Its not really done at my house except for the national design firms I work with . I guess i'll just have to get something better overall.
  13. Would anybody know if its possible to switch out my 7700hq for a 8750h in my laptop? Its out of warranty and all of that already and im not getting the performance I need for gaming and everyday task like rendering kitchens (kitchen designer) in Autodesk. I have a GL702Vi with a gtx 1080 in it, but im always lacking frames in most titles and you guys figured it was my processor being bottlenecked. This is basically a desktop replacement as I take it on the go with me to meetings and things but I come home and plug it in on the desk to external everything, mouse, mech keyboard and a 144hz monitor.
  14. Not that it matters too much, but I recently bought a 144hz monitor. I have an Asus Gl702Vi laptop with a 7700hq and gtx1080 in it. Even on the lowest settings of BO4 I can only sometimes hit towards that mark with the majority being in the low 100's to 120fps. My buddy that I play with everyday has a 7700 and gtx 1070 in an actual desktop and consistently hits over 180. When I was researching the mobile version of the gtx 1080, pretty much all sources said that it would still compete with the desktop gtx 1070 version. I am asking some of you guys that may have a bit more knowledge than me, is this the case, or am I missing something somewhere with settings possibly? Pubg on low settings I hit 60-90fps. Overwatch on medium I hit about 160fps.
  15. No, if the cable will then my laptop should. I have a rog gl702vi, 7700, gtx1080, which it already has a 120hz panel but I needed something a little bigger than 17". This basically replaced my desktop since I have to take it back and forth to work every day for modeling, but thank you for the reply!
