  1. After more troubleshooting, I believe that the problem only occurs when the monitor has to show over 60hz. So the PS4 never has an issue but the PC has... Does anybody believe it is the GPU or is it the monitor? The monitor is almost 2 years old and the PC was bought last fall. Thinking of just turning in both the monitor and pc....
  2. Yes, deleted both nVidia software and generic pnp monitor in windows and restarted system
  3. Nothing changes when wiggling, dont think that works on digital signals. Tried HDMI and all Displayports from pc and happens on all
  4. Restarting PC does nothing, because this problem has been on-off for some months
  5. Anybody knows what may be wrong? The problem comes and goes random, only happens with displayport. Sometimes it disappears when i turn the monitor on and off. With ps4 and hdmi it never happens. My second monitor is plugged with hdmi and it never happens there either. I have ordered new cable just in case, but i would not think that's the problem since it is so random when it appears. 6. Ok thanks, i can wait for a while and watch for 8th generation price drop or new 9th generation then. What AMD GPU should i watch out for?
  7. Minimum CPU requirement for BF1 and BF5 is, Core i5 6600K and recommended is Intel Core i7 4790. So wouldnt that be the first thing to upgrade?
  8. Name Core i5-4690K Manufacturer Intel Speed 3.50 GHz Category Performance Generation 11th Brand Core i5 4th Gen Cores 4 Should i upgrade to Intel i7 8700k NOW, or wait until the 9th generation hits. Or go in the opposite direction and go for a Ryzen. I also have the ASUS R9 290 DirectCU II, which probably needs an upgrade as well, what should i get there? i have a Freesync monitor
