  1. Okay, I tried most of the resolutions that filled the screen, but nothing worked I found an old listing about this monitor, saying its 1440x900. I couldn't even find that in windows, but created a resolution with that size, but that wasn't a success either.
  2. I used the same main monitor too, with DP. But my secondary monitor didn't get disabled with that. Before this, I used a 1680 x 1050 Samsung monitor (also connected with VGA) as my secondary monitor, but I no longer have that. Should I try to change my secondary display's resolution to a higher one?
  3. Hi there! I am recently got a *new* pc, running windows 10. I currently use 2 displays with it. When I play fullscreen games I have no problems, but when I close the game my secondary display gets disabled, and my screen projection resets to only the main screen, and I have to manually set it back to extend. What could i do to solve this problem? With my old pc i didn't have this problem. Currently I am using windows 10 pro 64 bit build: 18362.900 If it matters the specs are: CPU: i5-3330 RAM: 16GB generic 1333 Mhz VGA: Asus GTX 770 2GB (i used the same gpu with my old pc) MB: Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D3V (rev. 2.1) Displays: Main: AOC C24G1 (1920 x 1080 - 144 Hz connected with DisplayPort) Secondary: HANNS-G HW191A (1280 x 960 - 60Hz connected with VGA)
  4. Thank you! And what do you suggest for the motherboard and cpu/ram should be?
  5. As far as I can tell, they are pretty pricey. 2* 2TB Ironwolf NAS drive (red) takes up about half of the budget. One 4TB would cost about 40 000 HUF. Data recovery doesn't really matter for me, because mostly movies, and random files would be stored on it, that are easily replaceable. Would putting wd blues in it a bad idea?
  6. I don't have any drives yet. But thank you for reminding me about RAID. What drives do you recommend to get for RAID?
  7. Budget (including currency): About 100 000 HUF (about 325 USD) Country: Hungary Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mostly would be used for home NAS, maybe some easier tasks, like media server. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have all the necessary periferials, and etc. (including an 1600*900 VGA display) I also have an Asus GT 610 2GB Silent gpu.(I think for the display it will be more than enough) I also have a really old 230W psu, but I think that should be upgraded. I was thinking about only getting a few TB storage, maybe 1-2 because mostly *legally obtained* movies/installers/etc. would be stored on it. I'm thinking about getting it in a few weeks. I don't have any problems with getting used hardware. I think only my HDD should be new. I'm fine with the LGA 775/771 sockets too. Maybe would it be a good idea to get a dual socket lga 771 board, and 2 older xeon cpus, with lots of ram, so I could expand the storage if I'll need more in the future? I'd also need a case, if it doesn't fit into a really old normal ATX house (without any cable management holes). Thank you for your help in advance!
  8. Wow, now it says that the main bios is corrupted, and its now restored it. Now it seems to be working now thank you
  9. I didn't find anything related to 4 beeps with long pauses between them. I found out that the 1 long + 2/3 short means either agpu or gpu error. Can this mean that the processor might be faulty?
  10. Hi there, I have an issue with my newly built pc. It gets to the post screen, but stays there for about 2 minutes, after that it goes to either a black screen, or "yz:" and onece i got some random character too, which repeated itself if I pressed any button. I can't get into bios, I tried both usb and PS/2 keyboard. Tried 1 and 2 sticks of ram, tried reseating them, tried 3 different ram modules, tried reseating cpu, clearing cmos, getting "dirty power" out of the system. Tried removing all USB devices, and also storage devices. Checked all the power connectors, where I could, I'd plug in another connector. While I'm waiting on the post screen it beeps 4 times with long pauses between them. Tried with onboard graphics, but when I try that, i get no screen, and 1 long, with 2 or 3 beeps after it. The same beeps happen if i do not plug any display into it. I can't try other motherboard/cpu, because I have only lga 775. Also, the CPU activity LED is continuously on, when I power on the system. What can I do, to solve this? Or what might be causing this? I read everything I could find, but basically nothing helped. The specs for the pc: Cpu: I5-3330 MB: Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D3V (rev. 2.1) Ram: 4 or 8 gb generic ram (1 stick) Psu: 600W Zalman Gpu: Asus GTX 770 2GB
  11. I am sad to hear that I was really looking forward to using windows like that. Thanks for your reply!
  12. I want to use it on full screen mode, my problem is that i want it that way so my apps appear when i click on it, not this nothing(i removed the (for me)annying start menu stuff)
  13. So, i am using the latest version of windows 10 pro, and I don't like my start menu. I sucessfully enabled full screen mode start menu, but i don't know how to make it that my apps appear first, and not the recommendations and this other stuff i don't care about. Now when i press start this appears first: But i want this to appear first: What soultions are there to make it to open this way?
  14. Hey guys, I am building a pc (mostly from used parts) and was wondering that what will bottleneck my pc. The setup is going to be Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 (later maybe a bit overclocked), Gtx 770 2gb, 600W psu, 8gb ddr2 RAM, Asus p5k motherboard, Kingston A400 120gb ssd
