  1. How much should I lower it? Should I also lower the clock speed?
  2. How could it not be the GPU if it worked fine with my 1050 Ti?
  3. I really don't think that it's a power problem, since I also got black screens while not even doing anything that would use the GPU.
  4. For the last month I've been struggling with my new PC. It's the first one I built and it worked fine for a few days (I had a Sapphire Radeon RX5700 XT Nitro+ at that time). Then suddenly my screen went black, but the PC stayed on. This happened over and over again. I tried plugging my monitors into my Mobo, that worked fine. So I figured it was a problem with my drivers, so I reinstalled them. Still got random black screens. I tried using my old 1050 Ti, worked fine. The card must be broken then, so I sent it back for a replacement. Uninstalled drivers with DDU, installed the Radeon drivers, still got black screens with the brand new GPU. Then I thought it was the AMD drivers since I've seen a lot of people complain about those. I called support from the website i bought it from, and asked if I could send that card back. They told me I would get a refund for it if I sent it back, so I did that. That was two weeks ago, still don't have my money back. Right after I sent my 5700XT back, I got a Gigabyte RTX 2070 OC. I've been using it for a week now, and I have already gotten the same black screen / freeze problem again. Now I really have no idea what the problem could be. Anyone know what to do here? My build: Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F Gaming CPU: i7-9700k PSU: be quiet! Straight Power 11 (650W) RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (16 GB)
  5. So I might get a Razer Blade 15 with the RTX 2060. Now that I think about it, I don't think a touch display is important, I wouldn't know what to use it for. So if u have any suggestions including the gaming laptops, that'd be great. Otherwise, I think the Blade 15 is pretty great.
  6. The thing is, I don't have to pay it myself, I get a budget of ~2500 from my workplace. I was asking if there were any better Laptops for the same price, not the best deal.
  7. I will soon be starting an apprenticeship in IT and I need a laptop for it. It will be used for school-work. I am Swiss, so the prices should be in Swiss Francs (Which are basically 1:1 with USD). The Specs should be : at least i7 processor / 16 GB of RAM / 500 GB SSD / Wifi 802.11ac, 802.11n / Win 10 / 13" or 14" Display with touch and maybe even a pen. Now I was recommended either a Lenovo TP X1 Yoga or the Surface Book 2, which are ~2500 Swiss Francs here. Are there any better options? Personally I would've chosen the Surface Book 2, but I really don't know that much yet. I'd be thankful for any help with this topic.
  8. And also with the 4k thing, I only want to game on 1080 p but 4k is also nice for other purposes such as Netflix or any other stuff
  9. 27" or a little bit bigger, IPS, FreeSync, and Vesa is optional
  10. I don't really have a budget for a monitor, because I haven't looked into what i would have to pay for a good monitor, but I'd say it should be below like 800 if that's possible for a monitor, It preferrably should be a 144hz monitor, and maybe even 4k but I don't know if that would be too expensive.
  11. I haven't picked out a monitor yet, but I'd be happy if you could recommend me some alternatives for the things you said that were too expensive.
  12. So I'm planning to build a new PC, which should be able to get at least 60 fps at max settings on 1080p on most games. It also should include a bunch of RGB lighted stuff cos i really want a PC that looks really cool, that's why I chose the case which I think isn't ideal but i just love how it looks. 13. Alright thanks for the fast reply, any tips for where to buy that stuff?
  14. I probably wont be able to buy those at the same time, but which one of the upgrades will have a bigger effect?
