  1. i inspected the board nothing seems to be off
  2. should have been more clear but i already do have the PSU 450w Thermaltake PSU im gonna settle for a Thermaltake Core V21 that for the most part supports ATX PSUs and Micro ATX which Ive built in before i was just looking for variety as for the CPU and Motherboard i have them on hand already my budget is lets just say air tight which is why im using parts i have on hand to replace a dying core i3 laptop. SInce shes not a gamer im not sure spending money on hardware that would go to waste is optimal.
  3. in regards for the case im looking for something with a small footprint since her desk doesnt have much space left on it.
  4. So Christmas is coming up and i wanted to build a pc for my sister from my old LGA 775 parts which include a Core 2 Duo wolfdale E7500 , 4 gigs of Corsair XMS3 DDR3 , and a microATX ASUS P5G41T-M/CSM and i would like to know if this is worth putting together and if so can someone recommend a cheap mini tower for such a build ?
  5. Well I got good news the new Asus x470 bios fixed my GPU issue by letting me set it to pcie 4 8x so my problem is finally resolved
  6. Sorry I meant return, Amazon gave me a month to return it which I may do and just wait for partner AIBs
  7. video scheduler internal error and TDR Failure
  8. Well the basic issue I'm having that goes away after using DDU in safe mode then comes back after I shut down my PC is severe lag while trying to play games above 1080p, the system issues I was having was constant video scheduler internal error BSODs and TDR Failures that got fixed on the current 19.7.4 driver but continue when rolling back bios from rev 5007 to 4808 on my X470f which fixes the lag issues but gives me the BSOD issues .
  9. So it's been 2 and a half weeks since I bought my XFX Radeon RX 5700XT it has been nothing short of hell ride since the thing showed up at my apartments drop box back on the 18th of July. It has gotten to the point I'm just going to return it and abandon my Team Red Build and buy an RTX instead. None of the driver releases have fixed any of the problems I'm having, I even went as far as upgrading my 650w powersupply to a 750w Corsair RM 750X thinking it was a power delivery issue which it wasn't. Prior to that I believed it was just the card reacting badly to monitoring software. Wrong again, and now I've narrowed it down to my Rog Strix X470 F Gaming's boards bios not working well with the card and I'm half right but bios rev 4808 BSODs my PC so back to rev 5007 and my 5700XT not being able to run any game beyond 1080p mid settings. I still have time to RMA which expires on the 17th of August and if by next week the drivers arent fixed that card is going back and I'll just wait till costum AIB's or worse ruin my whole build and buy NVidia.
