  1. yes sorry your right it does have display ports its the monitor that doesnt
  2. it is an acer GN246HL and no it doesnt have mini display port and the hdmi port is being used for the playstation i think what im asking is what kind of dvi cable do i need
  3. Hey guys i was just wondering what cable i need for 144hz as i just got my new monitor but it didnt come with a cord included like it was meant to. My graphics card doesn't support display port so if there are any other optiuons it would be great to know and also it would also be great if you could send me links where i could find these cords
  4. Well the games im hoping is literally just rainbow, fortnite and Battlefield i reckon for now so do you think i will be comfortable with that?
  5. I want to be able to stream at 1080p hopefully but i would happily settle for 780p. I also wanna play titles like Rainbow 6 at 1080 at 144 and fortnite at 144 fps in 1440p. But mainly i am wanting to have a 1440p build that achieves 144hz in most titles. Suggestions are appreciated as i want to make sure this build comes out as nice as possible and I want to make sure this build doesnt go over $2000 AUD which is approx. $1,445 USD. EVGA Geforce GTX 1080 i5 8600k EVGA CLC 280 liquid cooler G.Skill tridentZ 3200 ASRock Z370 Pro 4 LGA Seagate barracuda 2TB Rosewell 650W power supply Silicon Power 240gb SSD And a P400s case from phanteks Again any help is much appreciated!
  6. i mainly wanna play at 1440 so do you think i should up my cpu or lower my graphics card? like do you think im going overboard?
  7. I was wondering if my 1080 graphics card that i am planning on getting for my new build will be bolttlenecked by a i5 8600k from intel? The graphics card has a 1.71 Ghz base and 1.85 boost. It would be really good to hear anyone opinion on this as i want to make sure my new build works as well as possible
