Problem: I recently upgraded my old computer to a new one and after installing windows 10 and drivers, my PC seems to run into an issue where I cannot connect to the internet via Ethernet. The computer spits out a message of "Unidentified network" with no internet access whatsoever. All drivers are up to date including ethernet drivers. The only way I can access internet is via Wifi.
OS: Windows 11 64bit
Specs: i5 12600k, asus prime z690p wifi d4, 600w psu, evga gtx 1060 3gb, 1tb ssd, corsair vengeance 32gb ram.
BIOS: Windows 11 22H2
Upon running ipconfig /all, I can see that under "Ethernet adapter Ethernet" there are no leases obtained/expiring with only a preferred IVP4 address and no default gateway listed.
I've tried manually assigning the IP address but nothing worked and went through all the guides I could find but nothing worked. Reinstalling drivers / restarting nothing.
Edit: The lights on my ethernet cable is amber orange on the left side and nothing on the right
