  1. Two questions: (1) In terms of gaming and future proofing, is it better to spend money on an 8th gen I5 or I7 CPU? I know the I5 CPUs are considerably cheaper than the I7s, but are games going to start utilizing the I7 CPU more than the I5s in the future? (2) For OCing, is there much of a difference in terms of gaming between the 8th gen I5 K series vs the I7 K series? I will be OCing on the more conservative side just to get my feet wet. Is there a reliable website or guide you guys can suggest to educate myself on OC? Thanks for you help and any suggestions.
  2. Hi All, I built my first PC back in 2015 on a budget to get my feet wet in this hobby. I still consider myself a novice, but now I am considering upgrading my MB and CPU so I can start getting into overclocking and better cooling set-ups. I am considering upgrading the MB and CPU to an Intel 8700k. Is it worth it to spend money now for the upgrade or wait until the end of the year or perhaps even next summer? Any tips on how to tackle upgrading my system considering cost and future proofing would be much appreciated. Thanks.
