  1. Well I wasn't able to call at the moment so I decided in the meantime I'd DM Dell Support on Twitter. According to my rep there was a parts shortage, and that my laptop is apparently now in the final stages of packaging before being shipped. So, to me, that means it's not nearly as bad of a delay as it seemed at first. I'll let you know what happens, though.
  2. First off, thank you! Now, I was thinking that might be my only option as well. This happened to my friend a couple of months ago too, although much less severe. I'll probably end up doing that.
  3. So I ordered an XPS 15 on July 15th, and was given an ETA of August 2nd. Fast forward to today, and it has been delayed to September 25th (I wasn't even given an email notification about this. Thanks, Dell). My question is, now what? I can risk waiting it out but if it does arrive at the given ETA (or after it) then I'll have spent 3 weeks at school with no laptop. Should I cancel and order something else?
