I tried that, to no avail sadly. Also should be noted that I know the monitor and adapter I’m using work

I just finished my second build and it won’t boot. All the lights turn on but no output to the monitor. I tried re seating the cpu and it didn’t help, I didn’t see any bent pins either. I bought all the parts listed as new so I don’t think anything can be faulty unless it was doa. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here’s the specs; i7 8700k nzxt z390 motherboard 2080ti hybrid evga nzxt kraken x52 water cooler 32gb Corsair dominator ddr4 corsair 850w psu

Are there any displayport to DVI-D adapters capable of 144hz? I can't find any.

Alright, what was the other suggestion you had? And if that doesn't work, anything else? I could've gotten scammed when I ordered it, but that's highly unlikely.

It shows it's compatible with the 1080... However speccy says my motherboard is 100 degrees Celsius right now, so that could be the problem.
