  1. Hardware: Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-F Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Neo (for testing: old kit of DDR4 3000 Corsair Vengeance works with my 2700 and Asus B450-i) Hey everyone, just got a new MOBO, RAM and CPU. Can't seem to get it to boot to BIOS with a solid DRAM Yellow LED. Tried all single sticks of RAM in B2 DRAM slot and did the BIOS Flashback with Both 1212 and 1202. What I find odd is that after the BIOS Flashback does it's thing the LED for it stays solid where I read it needs to turn off. Any insight would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
  2. Hey LTT Forums, I just got a new RM850. I noticed the cables for the PCIe connectors have one end for the PSU and two terminal ends. This is the first I've seen of this and wonder would the one cable be able to provide optimal power to both PSU inputs on my GPU (it's a 8 + 6 pin)? Thanks in advance!
  3. Thanks for the input! On why change from my current kit? Anxiety on RAM prices shooting back up and then leaving some performance on the table from my current/upgraded CPU. But that might just be me over analyzing benchmark graphs haha Thanks for the input!
  4. F4-3200C14D-16GFX vs F4-3200C14D-16GTZRX I'm looking to upgrade my current memory (CMK16GX4M2B3000C15) to have a tighter timing/higher speed for my Ryzen 2700 and upcoming Ryzen 4xxx upgrade. They both seem to be listed under the b-die finder and have the same timings. Other than the heatsink and RBG, would there be any other difference that I might be missing? Thanks in Advance!
  5. Hey everyone, I had a bit of an accident this morning with my monitor. Long story short, it fell and the top left corner took all the impact. As far as I know the only thing damaged is the panel itself. Picture attached will show you what happens when it is turned on.The casing seems to be fine which leads me to believe the electronics should be good too. The monitor isn't even a year old. So I'm wondering if you guys and gals had any advice for me. My options are: 1. Talk to Dell and see if they have anything they can help with 2. Try to fix it myself. I'm an electrical engineer working in IT, so it's not something I'm totally unqualified to do. 3. Swallow it and just chuck it away and save up for a new monitor. Any advice or suggestions welcome.
  6. Thanks for the info! The cable is 3 Meters which, according to a few sources, seems to be the longest it can go.
  7. Hey everyone, I just finished building a PC for my living room and was looking over the motherboard specs. I'm a bit of a n00b when it comes to USB types and such, so I have a few questions. Here's the motherboard in question: https://asus.com/Motherboards/PRIME-B360M-A/ I was thinking of using a USB cable to extend from the TV to the couch to connect peripherals etc. to it. I have a USB 3.0 Male to Female cable, but will that be enough for USB 3.1 Gen 2? I tried to find cables for USB 3.1 Gen 2 but it all brought me USB C results. tl;dr will a USB 3.0 extender give full USB 3.1 Gen 2 capabilities from my mother board?
