  1. Hey guys, so I recently built my new pc for myself and decided to go with an RTX 3060ti FE as it just looks really good in my build and it’s the best bang for the buck imo. Anyways there’s also a PC downstairs that my brother uses that he bought from Dell. It’s a Dell XPS 8940 with an RTX 3060ti. I recently noticed that the max VRAM of my PC is lower. My founders edition uses 7.8GB and his uses utilizes the full 8.0GB (the max VRAM xx/7.8 Vs xx / 8.0). I should note that I am using a KF processor without an integrated graphics. The other PC does have integrated graphics. I was wondering why that is. Maybe there’s shared memory between the CPU and GPU? It’s bugging me please help .
  2. I wanted to go with AMD initially but its only compatible with DDR5 memory
  3. Hey I’m finally building my new PC after a long 10 years. Wanted to a get a good pair of CPU and Mobo to go with my the 3060ti that I bought. Initially I was going to with an Intel 13600KF with a DDR4 memory since they’re going for $379.99 CAD. However since I bought the 3060ti I can’t help but this with there be a GPU bottleneck? Will I even see any benefits opting with a 13the gen? Is it worth it? Or should I just stick to a Ryzen 5600x they’re only $200 CAD since I’m going to use a DDR4 ram anyways. Is the extra 180 worth it or am I burning money because of the GPU limitations. Are there any limitations even. Also mobo and cpu suggestions are welcome. Budget (including currency): below 400 Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):
  4. Hey guys I've been on the look out for a motherboard that is good cheap and reliable. Most websites are leaning towards gigabytes products, however the reviews say otherwise. I want to purchase a good z690 that is within my budget, but there are wayyyyy better B660 alternatives. Which is why I am here today. are the B660 motherboards even compatible? I heard some require BIOS flashbacks. Are there any good Z690 motherboards x DDR4 with wifi that are actually descent that just work out of the box? My budget for the motherboard is $200-$300 CAD. Thank you so much y'all.
  5. but wouldn't you say it'll draw a lot of power from one port
  6. Hey guys, so I recently bought a MacBook Pro for Uni and I wanted to connect my laptop to my monitor for better accessibility. I was contemplating on getting a dock or an adapter. However, I couldn't figure out whether I should get a dock for multiple ports like ethernet, HDMI, USB ports etc. or should I stick w separate adapters. Price isn't an issue here. I'm just wondering if it's better to use one port for all my devices or use a different port for each connection for instance one for ethernet, one to charge, one to connect to my external display, and for to connect my phone to. I do not know if I explained my question right. LOL but I did my best. Help is appreciated thank you.
  7. yeah FR DAWG NOW I KNOW THAT OCing with this card is like playing with the devil LOL
  8. bro its okay i guess. It definitely won't top BO2 or BO1. Like you have way too many options to kill zombies to the point where survival is not a factor in this game anymore. Like there's no jug and like the perks are pointless. HOWEVER, THE WEAPONS omg the guns in this game have not felt better. Overall, I feel like the your character is way too OP especially with all the preloaded perks like moving faster while aiming and so on. You feel me dawg?? The previous games used to be much more challenging like you'd desperately have to save up to buy jug and have enough to buy a gun just to survive until round ten. In this game can literally survive til round 10 with just your pistol and your knife. So yeah
  9. OH FR???? DAMNN imma kms LOL ? I didn't know that can happen from OCing
  10. I've seen cards that can go up to 1550mhz and theyre clocked to 1365mhz. I have clean installed windows after installing my 580
