  1. Recently in was in a game and it was too dark. I went to Nvidia control panel and changed my colour scheme to "reference mode". After that there has been horrible input latency on my peripherals. Feels like my mouse is moving through molasses. I repaired both the game and rest the NVidia control panel. I have head of problems with input lag and colour schemes before but dismissed then as not real. What happened and why? I'm not using DDU, that clearly adds inoi8ut latency also in my opinion after testing on multiple setups many many times, so don't want to resort to fully re-installing windows again.
  2. I currently run in multi-rail mode, should I change it to single rail before? You ay 40a isn't that sa lot more than the single rail amount you stated?
  3. Where can I find information on whether or not this PSU can handle the amount of power draw given by these two GPU's? I noted that their tech specs page doesn't seem to have the information on the wattage associated with thier provided cables. The 570 is drawing about 111w and the 5600xt the same. Both are undervolted. Is that too much for one cable here?
  4. Yeah correct 6 pin to sata adapter. The corsair cables are wired differently and my PSU wouldn't boot with the evga cables as they have different pins taken out (corsair in the middle, evga on the outer) 1000w PSU with 4 GPU. The gpu that the SSD is now connect to is a 1060. is it possible that would cause harm, its a relatively low watt card so?
  5. I ran out of 6 pin to sata connectors and corsairs and evga aren't compatible (would turn on the powersupply with evga plugged in) I have multiple gpus and have been told not to plug more than one 6 pin to sata to another gpu. Would a 240gb SSD be OK. I don't think the power draw should be that much?
  6. Thankyou. So its not advisable to turn off the PSU. My evga g2 doesn't do that, but I guess it shouldn't be considered recent anymore, that's very informative. Would be nice if they put that on the Box since the standard has changed so regular consumers don't shit their pants like I did
  7. The problem that the first boot was normal. I did add a few more items to the circuit (no where near 1000w) How would I diagnose and issue. It seems to but red flags went off as the pop was rather loud.
  8. The psu. The pop was audible and didn't happen on the first boot with the same method?
  9. I just set up a new build with a HX 1000 Platinum corsair. When I turned it on the second time there was an audible Pop and I saw a spark inside the PSU. What happened here? The load would be well under what is was supposed to. I've noticed the temps on the 5700xt are normal (with around 30% custom), but the fan us going auto to 80+. Did this PSU jus break my system? If so can I claim against this through corsair? Specs, 5700xt 250Gb SSD Gigabyte HM Mobo 8gb 2666Mhz
  10. Hey, I want to test my motherboard outside the case. When I lay it flat the cpu bracket gets in the way. Are gel/rubber feet safe to put on the edges . Dont want to short anything Thankyou!
  11. Been having problems with mouse feeling slow/unresponsive (hard quantify, but like vsync enabled) I moved my mouse to another usb port and the responsiveness drastically changed. The port it was previously in had 2 adjacent ports enabled. Why would this be the case?
  12. Yeah I DDU'd in safe mode. Also it is persisting through clean windows re-installs. The thing that is baffling me is that it didn't happen with the same components when they arrived, but resetting the defaults clearly suggest software mot hardware. But how
  13. I am facing yet another very strange problem. Here I'm using heaven benchmark to test my PC. Unless I restore the 3d settings in the NVCP multiple times a day, games and benchmarks stutter A LOT. There is also huge screen tearing along with the stuttering. The stutters happen in exactly the same places on the heaven benchmark Upon defaulting NVCP the problem goes away. I have tried (yes really) 1. Re-installing windows with clean all command on 2 differnt' ssd's and M2 drives 2. Changing Mobo BIOS to stable and newer AEGSA betas 3. Reseating components 4. Checking HW monitor for any problems, including heat (GPU and CPU are both well cooled) 5. DDU'ing Drivers (three drivers back) 6. Removing audio drivers, running latency mon 7. Changing cables and power. What in the world is happening, I'm losing my mind. .
  14. Yeah I downloaded the file for gaming pro. My only issue is that Thundermaster said it was a 2080 super after the BIOS flash. Upon reinstalling the software, thunder master displayed the correct BIOS as 3070. Only wondering why it did that
  15. Yeah thunder master showed that after reboot. Upon re-install of thunder master it showed the correct bios. wondering why thats all, the card seems fine now.
  16. Yeah that's what threw me off, The software said it was a 2080 super but after re-install it displayed the correct bios. GPU-z gives me the correct bios. The Thundermaster must have bugged out, my only question is whether or not it applied 2080 super settings to my 3070 in that time BTW, the card seems fine now, thankyou!
  17. Hey so I flashed the card, Now when I am in Thundermaster it tells me the card is a 2080Super? The Flash bios ID was the same in the CMD. Should I be worried? EDIT: I reinstalled Thundermaster and it is now showing this. why was it showing the 2080 super before I re-installed, very odd?
  18. Thankyou I'll give it a go. Not sure if you saw my edit. When I go the verified Bios you mention it takes me to a picture of the Gamerock. Is that mistake or am I safe to flash? As I have the "Gaming pro"
  19. Thanks very much Going to the BIOS on their page. My previous BIOS number (before PALIT support) was -94.04.25.00.9B This doesn't seem to match the one on their page. --94.04.25.80.1C This is the BIOS version Palit gave me (that was installed with their "file") ---94.04.3A.00.88 So should I go ahead? I also noticed on the VGA bios collection that when clicking on the "gaming pro" which is mine. It actually links the Gamerock?
  20. I don't see that happening, I have many security measures in place, their media email is media@palit.biz https://www.palit.com/palit/contact.php?lang=en
  21. Why would anyone go to the trouble of giving a DOS updater from BIOS that updated my bios file to scam me. You don't send emails to the correct location to receive emails back from another. Also sorry that was a typo support@palit.biz not Plait
  22. I contacted the official palit support email support@palit.com That's the email I received the file from is support@palit.biz and that's where they asked fore the SN ETC. How can it be a scam, its on their website listed.
  23. Because I was having issues with the cards power and hardware. I'm not getting a file off some forum
