  1. I apologize my last post didn’t have the 2600 but we decided upon that. Glad almost everyone agrees. And m.2 is faster, so we kinda wanna stick with that. But I appreciate all the help. Love this community
  2. He didn’t tell me this, but from the parts list he gave me, he’s trying to have a theme of white. Anyone know much about the Galax 1070ti?
  3. I tried telling him sense he’s not going to overclock, the stock cooler is enough. I was looking at the 1070ti Duke. Here is an updated list. Better cpu, mobo and GPU. And saved money. 4. My brother is asking me to help him on a build. Here is what he came up with. Any ideas? https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Dasfobs/saved/T4gLJx
  5. This is actually not a bad list. This one could work as long as the prices don’t fluctuate too much. He won’t be doing much over clocking so maybe the stock cooler could work well, but it doesn’t hurt to get a nicer one. The ram I agree with the upgrade.
  6. Yeah. I’m sure he’ll want to go through a couple stores rather than a different store for each part which is why I left some wiggle room. The SSD I asked him about and he’s not too hellbent on it. I was thinking a 1tb hdd and a smaller SSD as the boot drive and whatever programs he’ll run the most. He is very interested in upgrading which is why I picked the 750w, and it’s only $20 more. I’ll keep the 1600 in mind though.
  7. I’m helping my brother select parts for his new pc. He has a tight budget of $1000 and doesn’t plan on doing any over clocking. I’m leaving a cushion and keeping it under $1000 in the event of prices changing and in case he’d prefer to not go through a different website for each part. The preliminary list is below.
