  1. Yeah, I'm an idiot, the label on the mother board was just a little out of line, it is another sata port (using a flashlight helped a lot too lol), anyways tried using a different sata port, still isn't detecting, not even in the bios. I think the sata connector on the hard drive itself might be the problem, it's always been super loose, like the cable can fall out loose
  2. So I can only find one port marked sata (working on an Itx board) can I plug a hard drive into a USB 12v port?
  3. So for some reason my second hard drive (an HDD) isn't showing up anywhere and i obviously can access anything that was installed on it (ALL of my games). It's not under My PC, it's not in Computer management, it's not in Device Manager, and i ran a chkdsk in Command Promt and the total space it showed was only equal to my boot drive (and yes the cables are connected). I fell like there might be a few more things i could try in command promt to try and detect it (I had to do a bunch of stuff in there when i first got it, but i can't find the youtube video now). The link to my HDD is below, it's less then a year old. if there is a way to save it i'd prefer not to reformat it if possible. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078TJ17QF?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1
  4. So I just moved to a new place and had to down grade to a much smaller desk. This means I'm going to have to set my PC on the floor which isn't ideal because I have carpet and my GPU pulls air from uder the case. I have an SFX case so I could set it on top of my subwoofer but I'm concerned about the vibrations messing something up (specifically my HDD). should I be concerned about this or would it not be a problem?
  5. Just to be clear, I'm shutting it down normally, and then switching off the PSU to turn off the LEDs that stay on even when it's off.
  6. my phone does show up when i go to bluetooth and other devices in the control panel, but the only option it gives me is "remove device"
  7. downloaded the ADB drivers. my phone still doesn't show up anywhere in device manager, the list does refresh itself when i plug my phone in but that's it.
  8. i haven't done anything with developer options. i don't have any idea how i would get to them
  9. so i'll start off with what's wrong with my phone. i'm constantly getting an error message saying "android.process.media keeps stopping". I've tried several steps to fix it and one site i found online mentioned the problem may be caused by a corrupted photo or file. so i tried to go in and delete all the photos and videos that i recently downloaded. Turns out what ever is wrong with my phone also won't let me delete anything. So i figured if i could at lease connect my phone to my computer i could delete the files that way or transfer all my data to my PC and do a factory reset on my phone. now my problem is getting my PC to recognize that my phone is plugged in. i went in on my phone and told it to allow file transfer through USB (using the factory cable that came with the phone) and i've tried multiple USB ports on my PC. my computer makes a sound when i connect my phone, but i can't get my phone's drive to show up under "My PC". PLEASE HELP!! i have a google pixel XL and running windows 10 on my PC.
  10. So, I have a set of the Riing trio fans and a problem I've been having is whenever I wake my computer up from being asleep all of the fans reset to the default RGB settings. They won't respond to any changes made in the Thermaltake software until I close it and restart it again. Has anyone else run into this issue? and more importantly, does any one have a fix for it?
  11. So quick question, i don't know anything about overclocking or anything like that, but it seems like my CPU clock speeds shouldn't be this high when I'm just watching YouTube? or is this normal?
  12. i'm working in an SFX case and it's going to be a nightmare to take out the M.2 so i'd like to save this test as a last resort
  13. ok so my computer still doesn't detect the HDD in the bios but it does detect it when i enter list disk into the command promt (but it doesn't list it when i type in list volume???)
