  1. Somthing around 13 inches, gonna be used for media consumption and school. Id get a 10% student discount with Microsoft. I dont need power because I have a desktop
  2. 1,000-1,200, mainly want surface because of the student discount. Does dell offer the same discount? From the US, need good battery life, size and weight dont matter as much since theyre both light and small enough for my back pack.
  3. I probably wouldnt use the pen too often, is the xps 13 much better then the surface 2? Whats the main reasons to get one over the other?
  4. Gonna use it for school work and watching movies and stuff, dont have any problems with the lack of thunderbolt 3. I dont know which is the best choice for me since ive had no experience with either product current or past gen. If you have any experience with either of them id love to hear it, thanks.
  5. 1440p 165 herts. i know this could do it easily for less but i dont see what i could skimp on without feeling like theres a hole in my build besides small things. one thing i could get cheaper probably is the gpu but the gpu i have in this build is more of a placeholder rather then a final decision. im defiantly getting a 1080ti but not set on which one. Any tips would help. alot of things like the aio im getting for such a high price mainly for convince of less software, and ascetic which i know is kind of dumb but as i said in my original post, budget isnt a concern.
  6. aw, the crystal looks so good but as my first pc i dont want to make my bad cable management to be too obvious. thanks though. im probably gonna pull some things from that build and add it to my own.
  7. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kgrPKB Btw, budgets not a concern. im fortunate enough to be able to have a 3200 dollar budget if i wanted to but i feel like id be wasting more money then i already am at this point. trying to stay with less software tools as possible so thats why im using nzxt for case and aio even though i dont know anything about the aio. Btw, its 5am and ive gotten no sleep so if you could tell me the obvious things im missing thatd be nice
  8. Thanks for all the replies by dudes. First time posting on any forum and im glad that its this active. Im sitting here at 5am with no sleep thinking about if i should go through with getting a pc and i got 5 responses within 20mins. i love it
  9. Ive gotten impatient waiting for the 1180s to come out. Would it be a horrible idea to get a 1080ti, then, once the 1180s come out. Asuming they have a substantial enough increse in power selling the 1080ti and getting the 1180. I have a budget that can fit it enless i wanted sli 1180s which i dont. Basically im asking how much 1080tis will drop in price once the 11 series gpus launch. Cant find numbers for 980 tis once 180s launched so anything youve got would be great. Btw ive been waiting since may to build this pc so i cant be convinced to wait longer. If it will probably sell for around 500, thats good for me. Btw again, obviously im not asking for people to tell me the future, but an educated guess would be nice because ive got no clue
