So the story is , last few weeks, my windows looks so wrong ... whatever i did on it like deleting some folder, cleaning recycle bin, and afterward when i restart the pc , its like the pc automatic rolled back.. even my chrome history only remain until 6th of August, all of the other activity "did not exist" . When i run Malwarebytes, it says failed to load anti rootkit driver, ask me to restart, and obviously doesn't work . While i scanning it without rootkit, it show up a malware called Trojan surf, while i removed it , and proceed to restart the pc, the file came back when i rerun Malwarebytes. Tried to update the windows, doesn't work. Tried to enter to safe mode, cant. Tried to restore to previous version, doesn't work. So i decided to format it and reinstall windows and guess what, Tried to format it with USB boot able windows stick, using shift+ f10 command, diskpart ,list disk, select disk n, clean , it say cleaned... and when i click to install the windows in the ssd, cant . While i try to boot the pc back in to ssd, the windows still there i still go back to my desktop, the ssd wasn't formatted. So i tried to download Aomei boot able USB to try to format the ssd... by booting in pendrive, while i "formatted" the ssd, it still wasn't formatted. By now i took out the ssd and installing windows in my HHD to use this pc. So actually i am getting confuse is it the virus is that strong preventing me to format it .. or actually the ssd is corrupted and broke? Kingston 480gb. Any help on this ? Repair or format? To format it without connect it to my motherboard again?( afraid of the virus to get into my current hhd or to infect my bios..lol) Thanks for the attention.

its cpu led first then turn off , then gpu led ..then turn off.. then the pc boots ...

i dint know there is a name next to the led lol..will check it later

Hello guys! My first PC is completed and thanks to fellow reddit browser helping me out there. However, when i first turn on the pc... the pc arent turning on and the debug red led is lighting while the amd stock cooler spin and stop, spin and stop ...I closed it for few minutes looking over for google and youtube... i tried to turn it on again..and this time it works great and i am here using it. So, is there any problem might persist for the pc? EDITED: turn out the red debug led will turn on for few sec and turn off and turn on and turn off when everytime i turn on the pc.. what is the problem here? And, any suggestion for what i can use to check and have a look on my CPU temperature, like msi afterburner? my parts are (if this help) : ryzen 2700x stockcooler b450 tomahawk hyperx 8gb stick , x2 , 2400mhz ( i know its low speed for ryzen...but due to the price ..and i am not living neither US or Canada) SSD 480gb kingston Deepcool case that came with 5 fans Rx 580 sapphire pulse psu 650 Watts EVGA gold Non modular version ( i am so regretful now that i hadn't go with a modular version...since as a newbie toward building pc..the cable management was super hard) is there anything necessary to do in a new build pc? except installing windows? i downloaded the driver support from msi site of b450 tomahawk, the chipset one , however i am not sure if its the newest , how should i check? For example my radeon software is 17.1 version , while the newest on AMD site is 18.x , i tried to device manager , updating the gpu driver, therefore it is updated to 17.7 now..but still not the newest, should i download the newest chipset for b450 and gpu driver from AMD site and install it? , if so should i clean install the old drivers? how? *due to the pc cable management is really sucks...and i guess the airflow is block by cables , i have no idea at all how to manage all these cable in the case..any suggestion or help is appreciated!!! this is how my air flow though actually..and all of my cable that are located there...is blocking the front fan isnt? but i have no idea at all where can i put those cable non-Module cable... (while gaming in dota2 and rainbow 6 siege , the gpu temperature by msi after burner maximum is only 75degree though..i am fine right? ) (i dont have a program to monitor my cpu temperature ..looking for suggestion) Thanks for reading until here !!

Hello guys, so basically i ordered all my parts and they are coming soon by this week or nxt week. My build is 2700x , 450tomahawk, 580 sapphire pulse 8gb, and so on. I have some question though, after i build it , (my build only has a 480gb ssd), do i need to do any extra step to make the ssd work? I knw that i need to install windows through a pendrive with boot files, but after that, i will freely able to use? And if in the future if i want to add a HDD , i just need to plug in the sata and power cable? Will it automatically appears on "my computer" a new drive, or i need to actually setting it up. Beside, after i have done my first build later, any recomendation guide outthere what should i do? And the step which first? Update bios, drivers and so on,?(i saw a video on pauls hardware , there are some videos out there telling the fews things to do, but i feel like its not complete. Is there any recommendation too... After all this done , should i do some test? To make sure ssd , ram, gpu, and cpu all work fine(like the speed, performance, temperature)? Or its just totally unnecessary(because i m jz a newbie beginner , normal gaming and cad engineer works)? Or if its necessary, which program does people normally use? Any suggestion? Beside that my case is Deepcool Kendomen http://www.deepcool.com/product/case/2015-02/9_1721.shtml what is your recommendation for the fans setup? i have searched for about positive , negative , equilibrium, but cant fully understand though.. and if i am putting my computer on the table , do i need the dust filter below my PSU? about PSU, should i put the fans of psu upside or downside? Hello guys, i am planing to build a PC as title have shown, My main question is like , i am certainly sure that i will not overclock my build ( since i am a newbie toward pc building) so that is my question , if i am not going to overclock my build, is it worth to get Radeon 1700,1700x,2600,2700x, or any of those? i found out that AMD is friendly overclock , and therefore , at the beginning my main target was like i7 8700 or i7 7700 , locked version , as i am not going to overclock it. So the question is, if it is worth to getting AMD cpu without overclocking it? i will mostly use the computer for just normal gaming like csgo dota 2 , while doing some solid works ( as an engineer student, i am not sure yet which , but as a student i dont think we will need to do some real big projects, so it is basically normal and simples CAD works ) if i am not planing to overclock , any stock cooler(amd , intel) would work just fine for me right? while for the GPU (maybe not this forum thread , but since i am asking for cpu , if its matter together for which i would take?) i am looking for either gtx 1060 6gb or radeon 580x 8gb , as they have almost the same prices near my country(Brazil) , so what is the real different between these two GPU? which i will prefer for my usage daily? Also any suggestion is welcome! Sorry for the bad english though =x, not my main language. Thanks!
