I refuse to believe in 2018 that apple's compressor is the only cheap solution for embedding .scc files into mpeg2 for broadcast. does anyone else know a better way. the reason why i'm asking is because i'm dun with apple products and have moved back to upgradable pcs for the stations needs. However we still send episodes to other spots that require (fancy high power stations that is) that all products due to their traffic systems need the format to be in mpeg2 not mov which adobe can easily embed. so I'm trying for other solutions that don't cost 8k like tele stream. I work at a low power station that is on the rise and am trying to figure out alternatives. Thanks for anyone's help. I figured this community would really be best suited for a task like this.
