  1. I am confused because there is one giant and one small connector coming from the keyboard but they don't look like usb (4 / 5 pin) connectors, could be extra power pins, but what for is the larger ~20+ pin connector then for? Here is the image:
  2. You mean USB keyboard or he can replace actual laptop keyboard? Because if it's the controller i don't believe it will help him. Asus Gl753vd
  3. Hi, keyboard on friends laptop stopped working, it doesn't give any sign of life, no backlight, can't enter bios and it is not showing in windows device manager. My guess is that it is faulty keyboard controller. Is there any way to fix, is it worth repairing it? He tried unplugging the cables multiple times.
  4. Hi, I need help from you guys I'm looking into buying wireless over-ear headset. I gonna use them for watching Netflix & listening to music. Couple of requirements are: - Comfort (I'm wearing glasses) - Good sound (for an average user, without background noise) - Sound insulation from outside - Price: 150€ max (my only options is buying from amazon.de) - Decent battery life, 20h+ Nice to have: - Ability to connect with cable - ANC Two headsets that I can't decide between JBL Live 650BTNC or Sony wh-xb900n. I was also looking in Audio Technica ATH-SR30BT, but can't find any good reviews. Which one of the mentioned would you choose? Do you recommend something else? What are your experiences with any of mentioned headsets? Thanks for taking your time to read this. Have a nice day and stay safe from corona-virus
  5. Hi, I'm on a budget mobile hunting, the price range is 200-300€. What i'm looking for is: - Camera with accurate colors - Battery (at least a day of battery life, gonna use it for web, youtube) - RAM: 4+GB and 64+GB of storage - 5,5+ inch display - Headphone jack My location is: EU, Croatia Currently I'm looking at Honor 10 or Honor Play, they both are 290€ on amazon.de Is there any other phone with batter specs that I could consider? And also I'm gonna use a banking app on it, so I'm a bit concerned with Huawei spying thing. One day I would like to install custom ROM on it, so it would be nice if they had support for that too.
  6. Okay, thank you. I ordered ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac Fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly. ??
  7. Hi, I recently bought new PC parts, but I need small portable PC, so I'm gonna sell my curent MBO (Gigabyte x470 Aorus Ultra Gaming) and can't decide between this two: ASRock Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac or MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC CPU: R7 2700 GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 6GB PSU: 620W I won't do any overclocking on the CPU (I hope ) Will any of this boards limit the CPU auto boost limit? P.S. Price is almost the same in my country.
  8. Well you know how they say... YOLO! If I don't try it I will never learn... And some extra experience isn't bad if I fail as a CS student ??? Thank you all for the advices.
  9. Forgot to mention stock cooler is 70mm, so Silverstone SG13W is out of question... Tho it's a nice case! (I'll keep it in mind if somthing changes)
  10. Oh sorry forgot, the dimensions are: 300 x 155 x 270 (mm). Whole construction would be made with sheet metal. I have some expirience with jigsaw so it shouldn't be a problem to cut straight pices out. I'm on a tight budget so I was thinking of using stock cooler until I can buy AIO (or maybe to buy M.2 SSD so i can get rid of that HDD). If the stock cooler is gonna be okay I won't buy AIO and make the case smaller (need to test this first). 160 mm is the max width that can fit into my backpack. Hopefully I can build this case for 30$ (front panel included). I plan to buy some cheap front panel from ebay with 2. USB 3.0 and smash it somwhere on the left side, that could be my upper side.
  11. Hi, I couldn't find any cheap PC case on the market that could fit into my backpack, so I decided to build it by my self. Here is my progress so far. I'm looking for your advices if the airflow is gonna be good, if the HDD can be mounted that way, and overall design what would you change and what you like. Basicly I'm doing poor replyca of http://www.louqe.com/ The components are: CPU: R7 2700 (non X) MBO: ASROCK Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX / AC (... will buy) GPU: Zotac GTX 1060 6GB Amp PSU: HX620W (620W) SSD: 250 GB (2.5") HDD: 500 GB (3.5") AIO: CM MASTERLIQUID LITE 240 (... will buy) P.S. where should I put "front" I/O panel?
  12. Thank you for your fast response and for mentioning warranty. It has only 1 year warranty so I guess I'll rather skip this deal.. Even tho if and AIO can be refiled and opened like normal custom loop I don't mind fixing it if it breaks. Damn it, it's a hard decision! ??
  13. Hi, does it matter when the AIO was manufactured because of liquids inside it? I was looking into 'LC POWER LC-CC-360-LiCo', it's on sale in my country. (I'm from Europe) AIO link: http://www.lc-power.com/en/product/power-supplies/lc-cc-360-lico/ P.S. I have Ryzen 7 2700, i know it's a bit overkill for it... But it's cheap. ?
  14. Hi, every time I unplug my PC from wall and then power it back on I get into this weird boot loop: CPU led turns on for 2 seconds then DRAM led blink once and then CPU led turns on again, and so on in a loop. When this happens the only way to boot it again is to press POWER and RESET button for 20 seconds then it boots normaly again. I tried BIOS update, clearing CMOS, restoring defaults but nothing seems to fix the problem. Where could the problem be, what should I do? I was thinking that maybe the CMOS battery is bad so it messes with the BIOS data by not having enough power to sustain the data in CMOS, but I don't know how to check? CPU: Ryzen 7 2700 MBO: GIGABYTE X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING(rev.1.0) RAM: 2x8GB 2400 MHz (Crucial - CT8G4DFS824A.C8FDD) PSU: 600W chipes psu I could find at the moment (planing on upgrade in the near future..) Update: The battery is okay because when I do save bios boot all my settings stay.
  15. Hello, I built new PC with Ryzen 2700 and GIGABYTE X470 AORUS ULTRA GAMING. Yesterday it was storm so I decided to unplug PC from the wall. In the morning when I pluged it back in it wouldn't boot (CPU led was on, then for half a second DRAM led blinked and then again CPU led was on). I don't know where the problem was but I found on some forum that MBO has backup bios option to restore old bios (I upgraded from F2 to F3g) i have to hold reset button and power button for 20sec. After that it did some stuff and it was working again I could normally boot into windows no problems. Curently I'm selling my old PC and I needed PSU cabel so I unplugged it again couple hours ago. After that same story happened. Why is my bios getting boot error after power loss, is there any chance of fixing it or should I request new MBO? (sorry for bad spelling)
  16. Hi! I bought Ryzen 2700 (non x version) and have a question. I would want to OC it to 4.0-4.1GHz, 1.35-1.4V (max). I found used Freezer 33 (normal version) for the cheap. Will I be able to hit that OC with reasonable temps (max 75°C) on Freezer 33. On my case 155mm is max cooler height, and 212 EVO is 159mm , while Freezer 33 is 150mm.
