  1. Don't really see the need, don't even end up binding my mouse's side buttons most of the time.
  2. Eeeh... some people might try to tell you otherwise, but no. Clicking 3 milliseconds later should not have any effect on game play.
  3. Definitely an enticing monitor for the price, though a 4ms response time might be a bit off putting to somebody who plays a lot of fast paced hair trigger requiring games. Aside from that it looks good, maybe check the reviews and note that it's designed with AMD free sync, not Nvidia's alternative.
  4. Link? Hard to tell from just the price and refresh rate.
  5. They're both very good cards, I personally have the 3GB. The 6GB will set you back about 100 dollars more I believe, but the Vram is good for modern titles.
  6. Not to my knowledge, but the standard 1060 is an incredible card.
  7. Very good point, a lot of this comes down to preferences and what kind of games you want to play. The latest triple a games will have very different graphical demands than indies and older titles.
  8. Yes, I meant for home PC usage windows is the most popular, should have specified. Doesn't change the fact though that Linux and Mac can get malware, even if they are more secure.
  9. I don't know what it's like in Australia right now, but I just bought a 1060 3gb for 310 canadian dollars from amazon, very good card and seems to be just over your budget (runs doom 2016 ultra settings 60fps).
  10. You CAN get malware on a mac, it's just that more people make malware for windows because it's the most popular OS.
  11. Windows is definitely the preferred OS for price, and don't even consider mac for gaming.
  12. Probably. Depends on your budget, if you can spend a little more do so. The 1050ti is a very good card, though it's a bit outdated. A lot of 10 series cards have been on sale lately too, try to maybe score a 1060 (should run just about any game you throw at it).
