  1. Hey all, I won't be able to connect LAN cable anymore to my PC and only have one PCIE 2.0 x16 slot available on my motherboard. Will a PCIE express WiFi card work on this slot? I have used a powerline before and am not interested in purchasing another one so what are my other solutions?
  2. Right. My question now is that even though the LED on the motherboard lights up, it could still be a dead motherboard?
  3. I did and still the same issue.
  4. My motherboard is turned on tho and it's LED lights up. Does this still mean it could be a dead motherboard?
  5. According to AsRock's forum; 5 short: Process error. Bear in mind that the system in this situation was posted without a GPU and one 8GB RAM stick
  6. There aren't LED as such, but there is a buzzer alarm. When I tried @StyvyStiefel's suggestion, it beeped 5 times.
  7. I've tried your solutions. It still does not work.
  8. I have tried both. One instance on the GPU and another with the HDMI on the motherboard without GPU installed.
  9. Hey all, I had just built a new PC and upon finishing assembling it, I can't seem to be getting any display signal from the GPU nor the iGPU. I am using a HDMI 2 cable that i had also purchased brand new. I have checked every possible loose ends such as misplacement of RAM, loose cable pins, resetting CMOS battery, resitting the CPU, GPU and 24 pin cables but to no avail I still am not getting any display signal on my monitor. I've tried this HDMI cable with my laptop and it works so I am assuming it is a problem with one of the components inside the pc and not the cable. What could be causing this problem? My PC specs: - i5-9600K paired with Corsair H100i - AsRock Z390 Steel Legend Mobo - RTX 2060 Super - 16GB 3200Mhz RAM - 800W Cougar Fully Modular PSU
  10. hey all can someone tell me if i should get an ROG MAXIMUS motherboard for my pc that's solely for gaming ? and what are the difference/advantages (if any) compared to other z390 motherboards
  11. Hey all so recently I've realised that after few hours of gaming my audio becomes muffled and static-ish. I'm using the Corsair HS50 through Cougar Roccat USB Sound card. Any ideas on what could be causing this static ish sounds? I've also realised that once I change the playback format for the headphones to 24 Bit 48000 Hz, the sounds become a bit quieter even on full volume.
  12. I checked for any updates for the current driver online and on the PC but apparently I have the best driver for the device
  13. Hey all so I've had this problem for a while but now it's bugging me. I tried searching up online for solutions but it does not seem applicable to me. Apparently, I'm meant to uncheck the "allow computer to turn off this device" box under power management of the network adapter but I don't have that option. I'm using LAN from a WIFI Extender (TP-Link AC750) connected to the motherboard.
  14. tried it. works now thanks bud
  15. Hey all so I’ve been using HDMI all these while but now I need to use DVI as I’ve changed my monitor but I can’t seem to get any signal. It might be because my Monitor is old though it still works all fine. Monitor model: Viewsonic VX2233WM GPU: Asus Dual GTX1060 6GB
  16. Wait what do you mean “not talking about 3DMark’s benchmarks”? Do i test the GPU on 3DMark or not?
  17. Hey all so I might purchase a new GPU second hand and what are some steps to test if the GPU is good to go and hasnt been mined on?
  18. my headphone is plugged in as much as i could possibly push it without breaking the front io. could it possibly be the jack issue?
  19. Heyy all so recently i got a new case and whenever i plug in my headphone in the front jack the audio is sounds echoey and muffles like underwater sounds. This stops when i tweak the 'Balance' as shown in the photo but that causes the LR sound to be all weird and mixed.
