  1. When will we see price increases on the few products that will be affected? I've heard both "a few months from now" and "on the day the tariff goes live"
  2. There is definitely a risk to buying early. I have a pretty strict budget and I'm not really going to be able to spend more than 500 bucks on a graphics card. I also may have the money before the new cards even come out. I'm only going to use this pc for gaming at 1440p 144hz, which the 1070ti does quite well
  3. I'm currently looking at getting a 1070ti. The prices have come down and I would be comfortable buying at the current price. I don't currently have a PC right now and don't have the money for the entire PC. I will have the money in the next couple months but I'm worried the price of GPUs will go up by then due to everyone rushing to buy the new cards and then buying 10-series cards once all the new cards are gone. The way I see it, I have 3 options: 1. Buy the 1070ti now even though I don't have the money for all the parts of my computer, 2. Buy the 1070ti once I have the money to buy all the parts and risk the prices rising, 3. Wait until the new cards come out and buy one of those for more than the 1070ti costs but get more performance. Let me know your thoughts
  4. I'm not really looking for rgb. I don't want to spend more than about 10-15 dollars per fan
  5. I'm looking to get some 120mm fans to pair with my meshify c. I'm trying to get a nice lighting effect through the dark tempered glass panel as well as the front mesh. I was looking at the thermaltake riing and the corsair air series. Any thoughts on which one would look better through mesh and dark tg? If you have other fans you would recommend please leave them down below as well. I'm not going rgb but I can't decide between white and blue leds as well, so if you have a recommendation there, that would be helpful.
  6. How long will my cpu last before needing to be replaced? I'm not talking about burning out and dying (that takes many factors into account like voltage). What I'm talking about is how far down the line will I have to get a new CPU to keep up with games and GPU requirements? Eventually the CPU would be a bottleneck but I've heard of people gaming with CPUs as old as Sandy Bridge. Btw, I have an 8600k.
  7. I don't have a PSU, that's what I'm trying to figure out. I'm not sure which one to get. I'll include the parts list in its entirety incase that helps
  8. I'm building my first pc and I'll be using it primarily for gaming. I want to get a good overclock out of it so I can get more of those sweet frames. I'm not exactly sure how big of an overclock my cpu and GPU can handle. I know each unit is different due to the silicon lottery but I'm still not sure about ballpark estimates. I need to choose the wattage for my PSU and I'm not sure how much to go for. CPU- i5 8600k Graphics- MSI 1070 ti Titanium PCPartPicker said 409 watts but that doesn't account for overclock. I guess my question is, how much will the overclock add to my power draw?
  9. Thank you, for some reason I couldn't find any reputable fans in that price range until now
  10. Alright, so I'm building my first ever PC very soon. The case I chose was the Phanteks P400s TGE. However, I chose it for its sleekness and tempered glass not for it's functionality. I know it doesn't have the best air flow so that's why I'm here. I need to find some good 140mm static pressure fans, preferably between $10-$20.
